Sorry folks for not attending to this matter; been fighting with the Veterans Administration and they (those people) can tire your mind, and physically. I've needed to rest. Sure enough Sir Bichur every so often something will pop-up. Not sure whether it is due to downloading updates BETA from SDC, or just what. I did follow Sir Zubaz's instructions and in fact have them now on disk. It appeared that all was going well, but then it happe

Followed to the "T" your link 101. Looked like all was going well...until downloaded a new widget and opened it! This caused the need for DesktopX Builder to close. And, on loading theme Jigsaw of course came the message to either reload or go with a new; the ol' buggy plug-in possibility in being the cause.
Thanks Sir Zubaz! The cache I did not previously delete; everything else however.
Last few days error messages that DektopX Builder needs to close due to Buggy Plug-in. I have uninstalled via SDC and reinstalled...several times; no fix as of yet. I have even uninstalled SDC and reinstalled. We have Object Desktop Upgrade for the works.
The ability for Vista to do Optimization in the background without a need to download that specific software from another company; (e.g., Diskeeper 10 which seems to keep our Optims at 100%). Tango Yankee, and have a safe trip returning in whole...not parts.
I have all four (4) Alienware Themes downloaded into Theme Manager. But I only like two (2) of the four (4) Wallpapers. How can I pull out the Wallpapers and place into My Pictures? Thanks!
Send those E-Mails "Priority" and not Fourth Class!
Now I'm up and running with no issues so far. O.K. Tango Yankee Sir Bichur. So, you installed through SDC? Is there not a difference between doing that and waiting for the link from Stardock in order to insert the serial number furnished? Or, does the SDC already know if one has purchased...theref
Well, the Firedogs keep getting e-mails from Stardock up the wazoo but not the 5.0...the 4x! BTW, for our friend Sir Bichur, good to uninstall the 4x completly before installing the 5x?
The Bush War...
Comments from others using external hard drives for backing up.
Never thought of "registry entries"; thanks a million starkers! Perhaps, instead of going with the external hard drive I wanted, I should go with this one:http://www.kanguru.com/pc_clone.html
Anyone using a Kanguru? Needing just a simple unit in the event XP needs to be reinstalled...and usually this is the case from time-to-time.
We selected the My Halloween by Xav73. Good Deal here Xav73. BTW, Thanksgiving is coming soon! Firedog Two
Good to know I am not the only person who duplicates. Although, I seem to remember seven as my highest. And, now I see where Sir Bichur has been this past week.
Well, Happy Birthday to this group of 40 on up! Firedog One P.S. Thank you SD! I came this close . to reinstalling XP because I thought it was acting up again. Until then folks! Now I can go to the beach and rest.
Good Day Sir Bichur! I am most pleased that DesktopX "objects" and IconX are finally getting along now. I do not think that IconX's tab is any longer married to DesktopX Builder 3.1/DesktopX - 3.1 Settings. Soooooooooooooo Great to hear from you. Thought you had fallen off the planet. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Laugh.gif"

Apparently, clearing the cache was the key after uninstalling IconX. Now, I can use the purchased version of IconX along with loading DesktopX "objects". Your notes & Link were used. Taking the time to visit Stardock Support on WinCustomize

IconX crashes everytime I try to run it. When this happens, are you running DesktopX "objects" of any kind?
Most pleased to see Mike visiting and making note of not only problems w/IconX, but other areas.
While you might be fortunate enough to receive a remedy here, please also report this to Stardock Technical Support; Attn: Nick or Mike.
Checking to see whether anyone is having any conflicts as a result of running DesktopX {objects} w/IconX running? This writer has noted at this end that when using DesktopX objects...and then clicking on IconX>>>icons disappear and OS has some difficulty.
