El Chino: "No resources" should mean that your Treasury has fallen below -500bc. You can operate with deficit spending, but once you fall below -500bc there is nothing left to build or research with. Double-check your treasury. Have fun, this game is great! :CONGRAT:

Well, tried again and no crash at first. Seems the Hero doesn't CTD when clicked unless it has picked up an anomoly that modifies the ship itself. I may be wrong. Soldier: Don't give up! You will find "your game"! Practice makes perfect, and you'll find that things will start coming together. I have to chime in here. Just don't pay the $30 and wait until the expansion is fully tested and available for FREE. Nobody is twisting your arm to become a Beta-tester. The dedication and support that comes from the "Precursors" (the game designers) is truly unique. Try looking for the same level of help and interest from, say, a Microsoft game (like Age of Mythology, which I'll sell to the first person with $15). Indie, I have found (with only about 8 games,3 posted) that influence is hard to come by early on, but begins to expand quickly after a certain point. It seems at first as if you're going to be swallowed by another Civ's influence. You'll show almost no influence on the map until a certain point and then begin popping up all over. Starbases help a lot! I've found Diplomatic techs help a great deal, and as far as what's most important to build, that all depends on your strategy.
