yeah, it's NOT funny at all when i can find mods for sins from the modders, that the mods actually works with the lasest sins entrenchment update 1.04 on their personal pages, but if i go to either the sins download page or use impulse to get new up-to-date mods for entrenchment 1.04.. i get directed to a page that only lists shit that is from AUgust 09!!!!! wtf? stardock/impulse???? get ur act together and update teh damn mod site! I already see that your customer serv

hi yes, i downloaded teh above mentioned rar from the dolynick page. i downloaded this particular one cause it was supposed to include all 3 of his/her mods. the way in which i read what he wrote was that this rar would install all three mods in the proper order and in the proper place in my modsentrenchment 1.04 mods folder just like any other mod made specifically for sins-entrenchment 1.04 mods. wtf? how difficult is it to clearly write install instructions to install somet

ok, this is not kewl.. so everytime i uninstall impulse before i even install sins, i now see that sins is installed on my computer under the local file but everything else says sins isn't installed and when i go to remove or delete the offending sins file it tells me that the file can not be deleted.... that means it's a virus in impulse huh?

[quote who="DanzaDragon" reply="19" id="2465462"] Quoting Craig Fraser, reply 8 Umm...are you serious? Lets get back to basics: Mods - good. Patches - good. This. Be greatful this game actually has regular mods AND patch updates. You obviously haven't played the command and conquere series, or infact just anything made by EA lol [/quo

ummm, craig.. of course i'm serious. if i wasn't serious i wouldn't have said a thing. I love modders and their mods. Normally it tkaes me about 3 months to go through a game when i buy it. If it wasn't for the modders, I would have stopped playing sins over a year ago at least. But, i don't know what ur statement is for Craig. Mods = great! Patches = mostly great.

to -Ue_Carbon...ok, see I didn't know that it was a requirement for the 'gaming with Windows' item. I'm very sorry that the developer has to put up with some OS manufacturer telling it how to make their game. Microsoft does seem to think they rule everything. to JohnJames... I don't know how to archive a copy of sins, I don't save copies of games. But, if you would know where or how i would go about archiving sins to the last version toat the mods work for.. I would greatly appreciate

i havent played the game cause none of the mods work and i have beaten the game in its entirety on the hardest level over a year ago. The only new stuff is the mods. at least for me. I guess when i tell impulse to take me to the sins mod page. impulse gets it wrong and it keeps sending me to a page that tells me that the last time mods for sins were uploaded was back in august ... a lot more than a few hours, days or weeks ago. I have been patient. I'm sorry, I didn't know the

Yeah, MODding is an integral part of gaming. Lots of game makers make it easy to MOD their games. But, every time the makers of Sins fix something and make one of their numerous patches, their patches 'invalidate' all previous MODS! STOP THAT CRAP NOW!! You already make it difficult to install mods because of your 'mod path' crap to the Doc&setting area of wins. WTF is that for? just so u can make the game less fun???? There has been a convention for where MODs go

Hi, I've been playing PC games since win 95 came out and yes, Sins & entrenchment are great games. excellent RTS games in fact. Only thing i really have to B*tch about is 2 things... 1) most other games run in 'Program Files' aspect of windows and you just add a 'mod' folder to the game and viola!!!!! u can put mods in that work whenever u want them too:) Unfortunately with Sins & entrenchment, You do not have that simplicity. the makers of the game set it up that u ha

ummm, I've been playing stardock games for years and i'm finally sick and tired of the crappy crap. everyone else who has a RTS game first off knows where to place the MODS at... namely in the MOD folder in the game, but sins has to be stupidly different and hide the damn file in Doc & settings crap!! Secondly, WTF is it with the patch maker of sins anyways???? the only thing your damnable patches seem to do for my gaming with sins is to DENI me to pleasure of playing the mods i h

yah, i pretty much said it all in the headline..... yeah, i'm pissed right now.. It's not like it's back in the early 1990's if someone orders something on the weekend and your computerized system emails them with a reciept for the sale and YOU get their MONEY... YOU had better be shipping the damn product on monday or emailing the customer about why their is a frackin delay!!!!!! YES i'm PISSED.. way too many company's try to do business li
