i considered that when i first started Evil Empire, however, i came to the conclusion that "Evil Empire" sounds better then "The Evil Empire". "The Evil Empire" sounds more like a reference, not a name. anyways, everyone here knows that its supposed to be "Evil Empire", not "Evil Empire Empire".

but what about just the graphics for the ship design? that is what se3 did once, you sent in your image files, and when they had enough submissions, they sent out an expansion pack with tons of new ship graphics to choose from.

i remember se3 had a very neat game editor. at one time, they encouraged people to send in their custom ship design (images, not attributes), which they then released as an expansion.

i remember there was this one forum i used to visit long time ago, back in 1995. the set-up was kinda stupid, there was a way to allow you to change your name to someone elses, and there would be no way to tell who was the real poster of a message unless you where the system admin. the forum was fairly popular, and there would be a flame war practically every hour, it was hilarious!

my terror star is hot enough, i dont really want to throw more torians into the furnace. i cant feed them to my genetically engineered, man-eating and alien eating, super hagfish, they are already fat enough -i dont want them to become soft and tame, they have to be lean and hungry! i guess i could just throw the 5000 extra slaves out of the airlock with the rest of the trash, but that seems like a waste. :(
