well, thats in my opinion, not everyones. a lot of games "cheat" (my deffinition), especially when you switch to higher difficulty levels. what i think is a good example of a "cheat free" game would be chess, since the rules are exactly the same for both human and computer. if you increase the difficulty, the computer doesnt get pawns that can move an extra square, nore does it get an extra queen. all the computer does is calculate more turns in the future before it decides what to move -the

not sure about everyone else, but i consider the fact that the AI's already know where the habitable planets and where the resources are without exploring to be cheating.
how did gone golders get so big? they have a huge number of players, but for some reason a lot of them havent submited anything for the last few months.
umm, what page do i start on? its a pretty lengthy thread!
maybe its all the pamphlets about the benifits of being evil we keep on sending to his house.
maybe we could somehow convince Ray to do that, that would help out Evil Empire out a lot LOL
maybe ray should decide that his empire will now be "good-only", and kick out all of the evil members, that way they would all come to us :)
if an AI demands 500 BC in tribute, i refuse, and instead i give them 1 influence point, and i find that it works the same as giving them the 500BC of what they asked for. mind you, i havent had an AI demand a tribute from me ever since i started giving them 1 influence point pre turn.
i didnt know that gone golders still has active people in it. i dont think i have ever seen any gone golder post anything in the forums.
what type of bribes are you giving? i ususally give everyone 1 influence point per turn, and it has kept me out of many wars.
remember, if you join us, you will be a part of the metaverse's first, and only (so far), "evil-only" empire.
i want it to be called "The Metaverse Free Press", that way we can all call it "The Freeps" in shortform.
come to think of it, i still havent seen the i-legue, or the fundamantialists.
i want the Draginols! all i get is stupid Scotlingas, Alexians, and the Carinoids :(
i just started a recruitment thread, hopefully we get more people. remember to keep the threads alive while i go away this weekend -i might be able to post something while im away, but im not sure.
i guess you arent talking about "The Metaverse Free Press" (:(
someone should start a "good-only" and maybe even a "neutral-only" empire.
i just hope it brings some more people into the empire :)
are you void of a conscience? do you like to see your subjects suffer? do you love PQ bonuses? well then, join our empire! the rules are simple, here are the rules: Rule #1 -your overall morality must be ether "very evil", or "chaotic evil". thats it! thats all the rules, as long as your overall morality is evil, you are welcome to join our empire. click here to see our empire -> http://www.galciv.com/metaverse/empires.asp?id=503
wohoo! made it just in time!
what happens when you loose by the way? i seen the endings of all the wins, but i havent let my self loose yet, so i have never seen the ending for it.
i dont get much problems with the alterians or the torians when i play evil. i dont even build much of a military compared to the other AIs -most of the time i have the weakest military of all the AIs, and still its very rare that someone declares war with me -in the last 3 games, i think i only got 1 declaration of war. the only gifts i give are the 1 influence point per turn, and i dont even pay much attention to trade.
way to go ray! now you just have to play 30 more pure evil games, then you can join our empire! LOL
there, i finally got that game to submit. it said it submitted it successfully this morning, but no score in the metaverse. now that i did it a second time, it works.
maybe i should have read the second page first (:(
