if it's one starbase per sector - maybe have a look at the rationale behind sector size and shape?
Just then Cotal and Rainbird came around the Corner (Rainbird was wearing her nurses outfit (the one thats 2 sizes too small) Cotal was wearing her official uniform which also was 2 sizes too small..
was this a waking dream blue? ;)

quite like the possibility of introducing the minor/pirates from the start and getting the AI to evolve them from say space stations to planets invaders - the idea being that the galaxy is a dangerous place (outside of your influence), but the galaxy becomes more ordered as influence spreads and empires become established. The minors could mirror this development, moving from roving 'barbarity' through organised 'guilds' etc through to planetary empires. of course, what this means is there is a
congrats euros!!!! 1M!!!!! :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: of course took the ARses to get you going :HOT:

the phrase "be careful what you wish for" comes to mind with the the maso scoring debate. as a community we asked for it, and stardock delivered. if there was no community, our maso 'cheeses' would be the result of hard thinking, but with a helpful meta, these hard-won 'cheeses' are disseminated easily to those who did not sweat in their creation. i, personally, have a tendency not to read many tips and strategies - of course, it's hard not to pick up some - but i like to muddle through in my ow
mmm tough one. maybe the universe is 'warped' until the discovery of stellar cartography (which could be the first tech), which then fixes the star map properly. then maybe when you discover a star system, you get some neat report or 3d animation that details the planets. perhaps planets have some kind of randonly generated special resource that adds to influence or morale or whatever. dunno really. i'd still like to see sectors based on mass ie 4 star have a bigger sector that 1 star -
Here, let me lean over and stroke your hot..brow.
sigh..... LOL
Yes, their butts do smell like roses!
must belong to the A.R.S.E LOL :CONGRAT:
when i loaded me medium, the techs/wonders/trade goods were all very strange (eg already had diplomatic translators but could produce them again) finish and then update definitely...
The ladies ... Rainbird and Cotal
i must say, day iz givin us da edge ;)
I just won't be posting scores for awhile.
brad, you should have a looksee at what i do viz scorin'. i ain't interested in maxing me score, simply havin' fun playin'. however, every score counts, so i iz posting dem. but i az never got above 10K. does i care? iz da pope a caflick? does da brisbane bears do it in da woods? h'exhactly. so if u iz playin', u might az well be submittin' cripplin' iz me favourite. i az never beaten maso and i don't care.
you don't have to be a southerner to be an ANZAC 'Publican! Remember da Lamo! ;)
um, my most recent 'one wish' is sectors based on mass (mass = resources) rather then just arbitrary squares - thus in tight clusters the sectors would vary enormously, and in occasional clusters, they'd be evenly matched. that way you could play with sector size and it's ramifications on influence/trade etc etc
...and Jeff - you're my kinda guy
first rainbird, now jeff. wombie, are u goin' all euro on us? LOL LOL LOL
Have to go and make breakfast now.
an alluring spy's work is never done.... ;)
