I've played a lot of games recently with two fantastic Mods by Horemvore and Gauntlet. Probably the highlight for me is some of the shipsets that both these mods contain. But I know Gauntlet's shipsets aren't on GalCiv 3 Steamworkshop. Will we still be able to use these shipsets in the new Crusade expansion as we can with the ships on the Steamworkshop?

Yeah I agree with you that the battle scenes are a bit of a shame. I would prefer to play the battle scenes and think it wouldn't be beyond Stardock's skills to come up with an interface where you could control the ships movement (perhaps on tiles) and the ships' weapons functions with the opportunity to do a broadside or attack the rear of a vessel just as you mentioned. This might lead to weapons placements techs (other space 4x games have this functionality (I bel

Perfect! I cannot wait for this to come out. This is close to the perfect 4x game, if everything works out as good as it looks and sounds. I can't wait for citizens. I used to play Distant Worlds and the concept reminds me of that. The only major things GalCiv still lacks is: gameplay and control of the ship in the battles mode - where players could control their ships movement (as part of a group of ships) and firing of weapons (this would introduce an

Good effort man in updating GST for the latest patch. Man I'm not trying to be troll but I can't even get the game to load without deleting the text files from the Star Trek core mod. Similarly with just one faction using stare trek ships, the game crashes before loading a galaxy. Even when I take all of the other mods out, like Peregrine Battle Mod - it crashes when loading the galaxy. Perh

Would love to know if you've found a solution. Hormevore managed to get them working on his build but I have had no such luck. Nearest comes from removing the text file from Star Trek but I can only build small galaxies. I think I have tried most of the possible combinations with removing files: the tech trees, the diplomatic modifiers. IF you any of you folks have tried other things pleas

Morning, So I'm useing GRM 4.9 but just the basic GRM none of the expansions. I am using your start trek mod in full (Enhanced planetary diversity, colonize events, star names and map chasnges -and Core but without the text files - which cause my computer to crash when I load up GalCiv 3. I've lost the ships for: Andorian, Borg, Cardaasian, Dominion, Klingon, Romulan and Vulcan But the ship sets are

Cheers Horemvore, That worked really well up to a point. I can now see the ship classes and select them and the new Star Trek tech trees. But when I try and load the game it crashes and I get a Galactic Civilisations III notice offering me the chance to explain what the problem is. I had a quick scan through the debug report but I wouldn't necessarily know what I was looking for. </p

Hi Hormevore. Had success by not installing the text files. I can work around that. For some reason though the game doesn't recognise the Torian shipstyle which I use for one of my factions. I tried to add it to the objgfxcfg file in the Startup folder but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong with it as it still fails to appear. Couldn't ask for any ideas/ tips could I?

Thank you Horemvore, That's a mighty gift. Sadly I can't seem to get it running though. It keeps crashing before it loads up. No error messages or anything. I tried to run just the Star Trek mod on it's own - obviously deleting all the GRM mod stuff except the ships in the My games/designs folder - but it keeps crashing before it is loaded. Do you have any advice you could
