There are two settings for trans.The checkbox you see and a translucency switch on the right.Also images must be 32 bit and your color depth in your video properties must be 32 bit. [Message Edited]

It will use .jpg.I think it only uses .jpg.

You have to set the transparecy(translucency?) switch to enabled.

Yeah,I love mine too!Have to keep rechargeable batteries handy tho because they use a lot of batteries.I had to go back to a regular mouse for about 2 minutes one day while testing something and I HATED it.

I'm on a 1 gig machine and WB only takes about 3 mb.Never had a prob with WB4 on XP.
