So few people bother to rate at all I could live with the initial rate you get when you post as long as it was reveiwed when you updated a piece.Heres another idea I just thought of,...you could let logged on member dl count for the first month decide its rating.If you hit 5000 in a month you get a 5 and so on.Would only really work in the first month because thats when a skin does all it best action.that would also encourage people to make a skin more complete before uploading.You would have to

Your right Gregory.A poll might tell us where everyone was at MadIce.Connecting ratings to comments has the most potential for fun .Imagine the ratings wars,the ratings truces,the broken ratings truces,but at least they might be more honest in there appraisal if they had to back up their reasons.You might not agree with them but you would at least know why they hated (or liked )something.I doubt they will go

Same here Keila ,I went back and apologized to the only person i ever gave a bad rating to.(it was for pig)I had to give them a 5 just to ease my guilty conscience.So few people even bother to rate it makes one too low or too high make too much difference.

I would certainly trust that over the drive-by ratings slashing thats going on now.Yesterday was the first day I have been able to see the ratings on other peoples work and I was appaled at how easily the system is abused.It only took one person to drop me from view by the public.Thanks to Jafo for fixing that for me.

I see a big problem headed our way with regards to the walls,and to a lesser extent things like object dock icons(which I love)the increased influx of walls is pushing WB's and DX objects off the newest additions list so fast you will miss some unless you go searching for them.Seems rough treatment to the guy who spent 40 + hours on something to see it knocked off the list by stuff that sometimes only takes an hour or two.My second WB is almost finished and I almost dread putting it up because o

Polorized lenses sounds like a good trick.They have 360 degree cameras so it would be possible to construct a room(circular I guess)that projected from a spinning projector on the ceiling or was made of lcd's and wired from the outside .(like a flat panel monitor only curved)

Yea David,where's the flyin cars,dream recorders and resorts on the moon?China I have actually seen two 3d movies that worked well and no headache,but most were unwatchable.Both times it worked well the glasses were dark and light instead of red and blue.How the hell are you supposed to watch anything thru red and blue glasses?
