RayChua, I'm in on whichever project the council decided to tackle first. I work offshore as an engineer for a petroleum company. This puts me out of pocket for a couple of weeks at a time but gives me a couple of weeks at home as well to sit around and play GalCiv. I can find more than enough time to help out when I'm home. :) ~SDC~

It's not just getting the beta but also everything Stardock puts out for the next year. I seem to remember something about "Political Machine". I am kind of anxious to see that one. That being said I upgraded to get the beta. ;) ~SDC~
GreyWolf, The replay value of this game far exceeds the $40 price tag. Along with a real community environment you will also be getting a free expansion pack this summer and customer service beyond compare. Stardock is constantly working on improving the game and there are mods coming out almost daily from the gamers. When you get the bucks this is more than worth the small price tag. ;) ~SDC~

CM if what you think you do is just point out bugs then you are sadly mistaken. It is great to point out bugs that should be addressed. It is wrong to continually harp on the same thing over and over again. I don't think you are a hard-core gamer nut I think you are just a regular garden variety nut. ~SDC~
I found GalCiv from CGW. I'm a very happy subscriber. Their reviews are normally on par with my tastes. I subscribe with the no-cd version. With a broadband connection I can always download the demos if I want them. ~SDC~

I just wish all those that are complaining would realize the outstanding customer service we are recieving. This is unheard of in the software industry (Any other industry either). Stardock has a great idea. they listen to what the gamers want and then implement it. Not rocket science but they are the only ones doing it. I am now officially a Stardock "fanboy" and proud to be one. This is the very best game I've played in a long long time and I purchase an average of 4 games p
I would like to request membership to this elite organization. I just hope we get fireworks from Gandalf!
There is no question that GalCiv deserves Strategy Game of the Year but is there a "People's Choice" type gaming awards that we can push this awesome game on to the ballot?
