2003 Awards in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

This was touched on in another thread recently but i would love to see some sort of Awards Ceremony (call it what you like) where all the members of WC Community have the opportunity to vote for the best skins of the year. We could have a few catergories but not too many - possibly keep it to 2 - Windowblinds and Others. There are many ways it could work but we do not want to make too much extra work for the mods and admins. Hopefully Stardock or WC might like to put up a prize or two if we

Kona.......i had an XP pro system similar to your specs running up until about a couple of months ago and after working on a few machines which were fairly new i realised how slow my 'old girl' was in comparison. Sticking in more Ram did not make it appreciably quicker. I decided the best way forward was to upgrade the processor, Mobo and RAM and graphics card. Kona........you are a fan of ebay i believe.......can't you get one there. I know you are looking for a boxed one but surely they are going to be difficult to find as most manufacturers have stopped making them so a used one on ebay would surely be a better option and a lot cheaper [Message Edited]

By the way MrsR........there are other progs other than OD that you can get skins here for and at other sites which are free also........Sysmetrix, Rainlendar and Winamp are just 3......Enjoy....you will find it is the best 50 bucks you ever spent
