Whales are one of the smartest creatures on earth. Cats should not be boiled and skinned alive nor Horses throats slit while they hang upside down alive so some one can satisfy their tastebuds. Just because something is deemed okay, does that mean our brains should fall out of our heads nor common sense and descencey fly out the

Cindi, I can't vote either as you know I'm Canadian but I'm crossing my fingers and toes on this, I hope this stops the slaughter!! I want it to end here in Canada too, there's too much bs in this country, it's like the killing fields up here.....anything goes!! The meat buyers go to auctions, they pretend to be interested in riding(liars) bid&buy a few horses and off they go, shipped off to Fort McLeod and await their grusome end(I've seen the picture

You bet Cindi......they are good people at the Mitchell Center.....they know what goes on in the "meat pens" and at the slaughter facility. It is my belief, that we don't need to eat horse(we have other options)some may agree....some don't. Can't change how people think, they are entitled to their opinion....right, wrong or indifferent, they have to live with their choices. It doesn't matter how it got to their dinner plate, just so-long as they can ea

Did they not use horse and buggy to get around? They were our helpers and this is how we repay them! BTW, not everyone

and as a patriotic albertian you must love your steak). Maybe you could educate me as to why this is worse? You seem real compassionate regarding this issue, so cavalear about horses and eating them, considering they are the backbone of this Province...our history and heritage.....I can't believe some

I don't fully understand why the reaction to slaughtering horse for food consumption is any different than that of slaughtering cattle for food consumption (and as a patriotic albertian you must love your steak). Maybe you could educate me as to why this is worse? (I also have a different view regarding the seal hunt but this thr

Oh well, looks like thousands of people will go hungry WOM, I really take offence to that!!(you don't know what they go through....it's sick) I'm so happy to hear this good news Cindi, I just wish Canada(even my own Province, Alberta)would stop this vile business!! Our dumb government will not listen to
