Never heard before about stardock.helpserve.com BTW, can't find any URL working with that ...

It sounds like you were having problems before IP got involved If you read my first post here, you can see it was on a "new" install of XP and this trouble is coming just after installing IconPackager You're talking that this forum is not Stardock support, sorry but it's called like that ..
No message crash, just that the application is not answering in the tasks lists... It's linked to an EPSON Stylus Color 860 printer with latest control panel for Win XP (Epson Color Printing System Version 5.20 - French version) OK, that's my fault, that's my big fault <img src="http://images3.st
neophil78: We need to know what the printer control panel is and what the actual crash message was. Ideally with a crash stack which can be obtained by running Stardock SmartException before the problem. No message crash, just that the application is not answering in the tasks lists... It's lin
neophil78: The closest I can find to a bug report on WB 5.01 from you is this 'I thought it was a nice update ... unless some apps brings in trouble such as my printer control panel (: crashing with an error linked to comcat32.dll (i think) Back to version 5.00[b].011 with which i don't get any trouble ... As you said, unresponsive ... I also mentionned some bugs with WindowBlinds (latest 5.01) or Iconpackager and which are not (i'm sure) "specifics bugs with my PC" and no kind of an answer to them. It seems developpers do what they think to have to, without taking care or reporting. Once upon a time, there was ONE point of discussion and reporting, it was on news.stardock.com and things were working pretty fine with answ
Too bad the Wallpaper feature doesn't know enough to search subfolders. I have a directory "Wallpapers" with many subfolders for different categories "Renders" "Landscapes" "Winter" "Summer" "Places" Same for me, unless this feature is not included, the option "wallpaper" is useless i think<br

Sir Bichur, as said i unchecked the possibility to have icons for Control Panel skinned. Even with that "Systray and Start Menu", "Printers and faxes", "folder options", "Fonts" and a few other icons are still skinned in the Control Panel folder ...

It should be very nice if Stardock could do a standalone app that the goal should be to define (like an option off WindowFX do, but for all apps) the size and position on screen for different softwares. Ex: - IE should be in 1024x600 from X=100 Y=100 - Word should be in 800x680 from X=150 Y=200 - SDCentral in 1280x800 from X=0 Y=0 - and so on with the needs of users ... In my case i'm just using WindowFX for t
Since a few time, i got a trouble on my PC (XP SP2 Home Edition French). I got apparently as a random way, 2, 3 or 4 times icons for "Network Setup Wizard" and "Wireless Network Setup Wizard" - well i think it's how they're called in english - (same number for both of them just because the applet or .cpl for these is the same: netsetup.cpl) in the Desktop Panel. I searched the Web everywhere and for a long time what should be the origin of that trouble
Glad to see treetog back in skinning for us
Zubaz, you're completly inconsistant ... Some things are not a question of PERSONAL support but may interest all the community ... Time ago, the newsgroups where doing a real great job, most of time without anyone directly from Stardock who answered ... Now, it's an incedible empty place and i agree there's no more way to get quickly answers for things which don't need necessarly a personal contact to [email protected] ... <img src=
Desesperating Once upon a time there was one way for support and discussion about non-personal troubles: newsgroups ... this system worked fine i think, now i don't know where to post a question to hope getting answers ...
Is there anyone for support over there ?
spywares should never be included anywhere What i mean, is if one skin may include spyware, it may be a Winamp skin
As far as i know, spywares should be included (perhaps) in some Winamp skins through scripts ... (maybe i'm wrong ...)
Hi every one, When you download a file, a window is openig for "register under" ... 1°) the "recent" icon on the left side is never skinned 2°) All Explorer folders (apart My Music, My Pictures, My vidéos) are not skinned neither Any tip to correct it, or is it still an IconPackager bug ? (I get the last version of it 3.10.102 through Object Desktop ...)
#37 by neophil78 Fri, December 16, 2005 05:52 AM Latest version 3.10.101 seems to be correct now relating to http://neophil78.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?AID=94482 <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Mad.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle"
