I agree with a lot of your points. DesktopX is so much more powerful than Avedesk, but Avedesk is so much simpler to use. I would like to see DesktopX improve in that area.
Congratulations.
Congratulations.
I have never downloaded a scheme.ini. Are these downloaded from this site or another one?
Opera does have a free version that is ad supported. Is there anyway in firefox that when you click a link that opens a new window, it opens in a new tab instead?
Thanks for posting this.
Skinstudio http://www.skinstudio.net/ Logonstudio https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/ That should get you started.
I mostly use opera, but I have been using firefox because it's more wincustomize friendly. I just can't decide which I like better.
Is there anything that Konfabulator does that DesktopX or any other "widget" program can't do?
Not a big deal really.
I think everything is looking great. I have to agree that some sort of color manager would be nice. I was hoping the forums would have some sort of pm feature with it. I know there are people I would like to privately contact, and finding out how to contact someone can sometimes be difficult.
This is a great victory.

This is the same President that drove away all of the allies that stood beside us in Afganistan, who brought us into a war that the UN has declared illegal, and that has every European country hating us again (even the UK, as Tony Blair is NEVER going to be reelected even by his own party. Kerry just needs to concede. Don't drag the lawyers into this again.
I think DesktopX is great and I use several widgets on my desktop. I would like to make widgets of my own, but I have to admit the scripting is intimidating.

I want to hear just how your going to spin this for Kerry? As usual. After every picture they would say "it's Bush's fault".
I know there is a problem with firefox themes that make the browser "shake". I have never had a problem with windowblinds and firefox together. The way I fixed the problem was to completely unintall firefox, delete all directories, and reinstall.
I think where you download from is a matter of personal preference. I actually download through both SDCentral and the site. You can go to https://www.stardock.com/support.asp and enter your e-mail address if you need info about your account.
I can only recommend a subscription. I started with occasional downloads also, but that didn't last long. I bought a subscription and have been very pleased with what they offer.
This is another great idea.
