Have you guys noticed how close Ginata is to 1,000,000 points all by herself? :SURPRISED:

Oh, man! We are just short of 4,000,000!! Great job, Greldon! You're cranking out those Gig/Masos like a machine!
OK, so I don't even have a copy of GalCiv with me.
:sniff!: :sniff!: :sniff!: Where are you?? Jupiter??? How could you go somewhere without GalCiv!!!??? Just kiddin' :) In case you're wondering, a lot of the pirates started a new empire (Special Forces). Glad to see you on the forums again! :HOT:
It's just good to see a peace offer on the table! :)
Hey Kit! Great to see ya! Yeah, I think you missed a little bit...G.R.O.S.S. could use a few points. You coming back?
I see Sherbert's trying to sue for peace with the Euros. Hopefully they won't ask for too much tribute! ;)
What sucks is VT's defense. What the crap happened to them this year? I'd say Foster's got a lot of explaining to do.
ACC rules!! :D :CONGRAT: Virginia crushed Pittsburgh a few days ago. If the stupid Seminoles had beaten Miami, I'd say the Big East had a terrible bowl year, with Virginia Tech losing to Cal. As it is, the Big Least didn't have a very good showing. :D
Happy New Year to all of you! Hope you all had a great party. The wife and I celebrated in Aldarian fashion. Drinking heavily and behaving badly! ;) We actually missed the countdown! I killed a beer and looked at the clock and it read 12:35! Oh, well...I've watched Dick Clark (a.k.a. the Eternal One) too many times before anyway. LOL Does anybody else love Rolling Rock? :D :d
vincible: I agree there should be off-topic discussions here. I'm just concerned that the complexity of this issue might not fit in with a gaming forum. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see the debate that will occur on this thread, but it might turn some people off when they are looking for an answer to why the Drengin are kicking their butts! LOL I would whole-heartedly agree we could use an off-topic forum, like the Strat or Mods forums. :HOT:
Smegged: The event that occured was the Draginol. I had a CTD on that event as well. I was able to get around it by invading the Draginol the same turn they appear. This CTD seems to have just appeared in 1.13.
Hmmm, interesting how this became a debate over the liberal and conservative views. Frankly, it's ridiculous to assume that the "right wing" doesn't give a crap about the environment and the "left wing" hugs a tree every morning before their daily peace protest. We all care about the environment. What we sacrifice in the name of the environment is the real discussion. Some prefer to sacrifice more than others. Sometimes at the expense of something else. There has been some serious debate about o

Not really an article this time, just some well wishes for the coming new year. The year 2003 brought us many things, some good and some bad. Though I haven't tried it, this year brought the bomb known as Master of Orion III. Many might say that was a terrible event for the gaming world, but in fact, it was a blessing in disguise! Those disgruntled MOO players learned of a fantastic game from a little company named Stardock. For many of us, the release of Galactic Civilizations has been this yea
And here I've been self-policing myself! I hadn't even tried! :SURPRISED:
Ray the Wanderer explained how game scores are adjusted by the Metaverse. Here is his explanation:
The key reason behind this disparity in scores is the monthly block effect. For you, all your games are still in one 30-day monthly block. So the basic formula of total number of points divided by sqrt total number of games is applied to give you a score of 49,562. You have 13 games in your denominator. This player has games stretched over a period of time so he ha
The log could also act as a list of who owns what Trade Goods/Wonders which several of us have wanted for a while! ;)
Matthew Downie, Jack LEagle, Greldon, ricbayer and Smeagol: Just wanted to pass on some thanks from everyone in the Fellowship! You guys are kicking some serious butt! It's great to see the activity, especially here at the end of the year. With everybody's effort, we'll make 4 million soon! :HOT: ~ Smeagol: http://www.galciv.com/info.asp?accountID=117340 ~ Jack LEagle: http://www.galciv.com/info.asp?accountID=681086 ~ Greldon: http://www.galciv.com/info.asp?accountID=7
