Vista icon problem in OS Customization Stardock Forums

Please move the thread if necessary. I don't know where else to post this issue I'm having, which I hope someone out there knows about it. I'm using Vista Business x86 w/ SP1. I don't know when the problem started but I know it was recent. For some reason, many of the software icons disappeared and won't show up any more. By disappear I mean they appear like the default icons. I currently use IconPackager to switch between icon themes. But even when

Just recently ran into the same problem mentioned in the original post. But my problem is solved for the time being. What I found is that for several versions now, I cannot update WindowBlinds without running into this problem. I wanted to test drive the new IconPackager 4 builds but when I try to launch the config window, it asks me for email and serial to activate. I'm an OD Ultimate user here. Anyone know what I'm supposed to do here or if this is a common issue that can be solved? Version currently installed is 3.99g(b).065 and I installed over 3.x. Should I have uninstalled it then install the v4 beta?

Well after a few tries I got WB6.1 to run. I ran the update from Impulse and that didn't go exactly as planned. I told it that I wanna reboot later, which I usually do with any programs or updates that needs a reboot. So after manually reboot, WB tells me I gotta reboot again. Did that. Same thing happens. If the contract stated that they are to receive a fully functional and working code by a date, then I'll agree that it's Epic's fault for delaying it. But I'm under the impression that Epic just didn't have the kind of programming resources available to tackle two things at once (having UE3 ready for general licensing release and getting GoW ready for E3). Well, we'll know what both side have to say about this when this blows over.

a couple of 500GB in RAID-0 can be considered a bad idea unless you have another to be used as fault tolerance. Not only do you increase the failure rate of the drives used in a RAID setup but you also consume more energy by going that route.
