Things I would love to see. 1. HEROES! I've been asking for heroes from GalCiv2 and no luck. I WANT hero captains in this game. 2. Simple to use User Created Campaign. I want to create my own campaign with my own story. 3. Complex star bases like in Galciv 2. 4. Planetary invasion.
I have this total conversion mod I was thinking of doing. But I have no 3D modeling skills, so I was wondering, would there be any 3d Artist that can create models for my mod. As great as a franchise Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5, and Star Trek are, I would prefer something more original. Although Firefly would make a good mod as well. I'll be putting up a lore for my idea soon. We'll, lets see where things lead from here.

No need for a single player campaign. I just want to re-create the lore of the current one. Instead of Vasari, TEC, and Advent, I want to do something like a few Noble House, a rebel group, and say another group. All humans. I want to put together a team that can create a new lore, maybe even new starship design if we can get a few talents in that department. So anyone interested in joining a team with this goal in mind? The example I have above is just an example.
hi Kryo. Good to see you here too. Btw, I enjoy your mods for Galciv2. Now, as far as modding races. Are there or will there be any simple tutorial we can use as template? I pretty much would like to see something done to the effect of how modding was in the original Galciv2 where you had to edit the race files and point to the jpeg.
As thrilled as I am for the game, the story seems a bit unappealing to me. I don't mean to disrespect the dev and the creative writers for the effort they have done. It is just that some people will not find the story very appealing. Example, I for one do not like Star Trek: Enterprise, but some others probably do. It is just a matter of taste. Oh, and put me on the reserve for that MMO you guys are developing. Societies or something like that. I don't know what it is, but I'm excited about it already. I don't know why, but I find it fun to buy stuff from Stardock online. And I believe in Stardock. I wish you guys offered more games on TotalGaming.Net. I'd like to see games like other MMOs or even games they offer in Steam.
Screw the retailers... I don't even buy PC games from them anymore. I like buying from Stardock online and I prefer to buy their products online. Even if I want a box, I'll buy from them easily. At my local Gamestop, they stop selling PC games since they are more focus on DVD movies. I actually have to go 2 miles further to get my PC games.
