I heard the 1st beta wasn't for much else than compatability issues with hardware and software, maybe the new gui isn't in there yet. I want to see what it looks like but i'm not a microsoft subscriber and I'm not paying 200 bucks for the beta

Some of the extra buttons get to the point you don't know what to do, the 3 on the side I use for alt, ctrl, and shift. Those help me a lot in apps such as photoshop and the like, as well as moving files around. Others I often have such as tab, (alt+tab on the mouse can be handy) and combinations like Ctrl+m, things like that can be pretty versatile. The laser is just cool, I mean sure and optical is precise enough you can move your cursor 1 absolut

Well aside from the only important part being the initial IE release, but not the pluggins, because thats all a developer and such can expect people to use, and that microsoft should have features like most of the other browsers so as not to just be nice to developers but also users, such as tabs and popup blockers (even though SP2 or whatever took care of that one) if for no other reason than to just be nice to use spoiled people... They could even be

What the old and new IE can and cannot do is the point here, not what silly amounts of plugins or other browsers can do to fix it. IE itself hasn't had tabs, gestures, pop up blocking or any of the other "what is now standard" features others have for any amount of time, and definetly not from a completely independent browser called Maxthon. Thats like saying "Windows has had object dock and a taskbar at the top of the screen for years, it'

I wouldn't call it fine art, but it's definetly a form of art. If it wasn't about an aesthetic appeal we'd all still be using luna But skinning obviously has more to it than just looking pretty. Although I wouldn't call someone an artist JUST because they are a skinner.

I liked longhorn, besides if Apple can have 50 different kinds of cats for 50 different versions of the same OS, windows should be able to have some bull.

If you used something like desktop X or Avedesk it would be easy to make an item like that, I don't think thats an option windows will give by default.

Right click an empty spot in the tab you want something in, then hit "add entry" and usually you'll be choosing to add a new shortcut. In the new popup window you'll have a place to put the title of the item. So lets say you wanted to make a link to say....firefox. In the title name the entry "Firefox", then in link browse to the program exe or whatever item you're looking to make. Since it's Firefox we want to make a shortcut for, you would brows
