I actually very rarely use Steam anymore ... I have so many awesome games on Epic that it is my launcher of choice now! And super stoked that Galciv4 is on it! Those people moaning and groaning about not wanting to use multiple launchers should just use GoG Galaxy ... it combines all of your launchers into 1 place ... I actually agree with the "grow up" comment earlier ... sick of hearing the whining and moaning ... don't buy the game if you don't think it's worth it.&nb

I know it's a lot to ask, but some other games seem to do this reasonably well. One of the issues I had with Galciv3 was the fact that every single game, it doesn't matter what race you choose, the music / interface etc were the same ... so it was very easy to forget that you were supposed to be a religious Zealot (Krynn) or evilly cunning (Drengin). Having a different musical score for each race would add to the immersiveness, also minor tweaks to the interface /

Yeah I like meeting aliens a little later also ... adds to the "mystery" and "awe" of meeting a new race for the first time. Feedback: some of the survey relics in GC4 introduce new species i.e. Yor colinists even before you have met the first race ... there probably should either be certain timings for relics like this, or perhaps there could be a bigger story wrapped around who these Yor colonists are and how your race responds to them.

Gone are the days of "standalone" games that are launched without loaders ... it has been over 10 years since I purchased my last cd/dvd game and even then I didn't need a cd/dvd drive as they gave me a steam key to download the game! :P If you use a web browser such as IE, Chrome, Edge (how do you visit this forum?) they are also collecting all specs of your machine. I'm sure your "privacy" concerns are valid but i'm sure most people have better things to do than to ana

Well, I'm a customer ... even more so when I see great games like Galciv4 being released on the platform! Sure, my Steam library is a lot bigger and I like that platform ... but I welcome competition and want to support game developers to keep more of their hard earnt $ (even though i'm a bit of a scrooge myself).

Loved SC3 (much to the horror of the SC1 and 2 purists). It was my first foray into the Star Control series and I loved the way the story developed, the amount of full voice content / alien species, the super melee, the plot that made you think of questions like "where do the Arilou + Orz come from? Even though the game didn't have input from the original creators I thought the storyline was a very clever take on the events after SC2 ended with the destruction of the Ur Quan S

Thanks for all your efforts ... Galciv3 has definitely evolved into an almost perfect turn based strategy game ... currently my most played game on Steam (perhaps only Starcraft 2 was played more due to me playing competitively for many years)

The last campaign-related DLC is "Revenge of the Snathi" I believe. Galciv3 doesn't really focus on campaign and the developers didn't put too much focus and attention on it ... the game is designed for a random-map experience every time you play :)
