sorry i was a little vague with the op. the reason it could be an evolved vasari race is because it started at their home worlds. the most secure planet in anyone;'s star empire. also this enemy catchs up to them one generation after they settle down a little to rebuild and gather resources. the reason it could be a human race is that when they smacked into the humans from earth, we stopped them in their tracks and we didn t
