All of my uploads that have copy righted material from other author's ... especially in treetogs case include in the description the permission and as treetog had asked also his website in the description. I was just wondering if the other dashboard skin he mentions is actually mine by the name citats it will have the same pre-amble tho... <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=ful
citats
I suppose I should note that my user name on other websites namely Devart and skinbase is citats so maybe thats the other that has been seen.
Treetog I was given permission from you to port CDII too Dashboard for the pocket pc. I still have the original text permissions as well it is in the readme file for those who download it. I have never seen another Dashboard port of your CDII. Sincerely §tatic

WinCustomize Browser is open now. regularily I use WinCustomize Browser, IE 6 SP1, Deviator and Netscape 7
"lazy graphics" what about excessive! some are just way too busy and unusable. seeing as we are not mentioning names of skins I won't. Minimal is sometimes better not only in looks but also resources.
If you never changed the default system restore settings you should be able to go back upto about a week... maybe that before all this started with the cable internet... you could start over like you never installed it in the first place.
BoXXi do a system restore.
Object bar by default has a Mac OSX bar included in the install.
I'm now on DSL, I can tell you that at one point I used cable and I also ran a Digital Cable box on the same line and I constantly got interferance with both. as you said BoXXi try your dial up again see if that works if it does work then you know that your internet related software are not responsible for the corruption. Then you will know its the Cable... Call them back with that info... <img src="http://images.sta
oops I didn't realize that the message I read was on page one of this thread... ignor my last message... I got to get used to this new format in the forums... what about considering a couple more possiblities that don't include IE6. 1. is the XP built in fire wall causing issues. turn it off no change put it back on. 2. If you installed any new software or drivers since you began with this
I Have XP Pro, I am surprised the SFC does not work on Home. I'm sorry my info did not help you out. Unfortunately the reg edit is the only other alternative I can see. It doesn't uninstall IE it just lets the fresh download think its not there. and basically your doing a upgrade install IE6. I'll look into the SFC on Home. <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=full&NewsID=913
Hey BoXXi one more thing if the repair does not do the trick... , you can try a reinstall: however if your on XP it won't let you reinstall IE6 you need to make the following edit to your registry... if your comfortable doing so... remember to always backup your registry. Start the Registry Editor Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Active Setup \ Installed Components \ {89820200-ECBD-11cf-8B85-00AA005B4383} right-click the IsInstalled value, and then click Modi
Hello BoXXi... I think that its obvious the problem lies with in IE (seeing as your IM and Email don't corrupt files it's not likely to be your ISP, but could be new software installed for your ISP.) if you are running a ME 98 or 95 try selecting remove from the add remove programs then you will get an option to run a repair of IE select this option and reboot. If your OS is XP open the Run dialog and enter
Objectbar can indeed accomplish this. You can even get the full XP start menu appearence.
Smaller buildings might not be an issue but if you ever pushed open a door on an office tower the wind funnels inside even on a calm day. one might aswell be inside. Having recently quite smoking myself I fully understand the addiction, and I always respect others health and would leave to a place I would not bother others... <im
I'm sorry SuzeLeslie I missed one of your Q's to change the programs on Dashboard launcher all you have to do is hold down your stylus a menu pops up with options to create new short cuts... or cut existing ones (delete) etc. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by Skin
quote "by Citizen pauljtipan - 11/25/2002 2:15:08 PM Can someone tell me how to install the dashboards from this web site? I have windows xp pro with windowblindes. Thank You." Dashboard is for the Pocket PC operating system. However seeing that you have WinXP Pro and windowblinds you have alot of cool skins in the WB section of wincustomize to choose from. quote "by Citizen SuzeLeslie - 11/26/2002 3:35:00 AM I just want to know the purpose of
A windowblinds skin is not an app however it is used on an app... as is a wall paper used on an app... your os.
I think the point is that all content on the site should be treated the same. So if you only have to be logged in to permit the download well fine thats cool... but its not cool if that restriction in only on wall. > <
Like Boxxi says... it will effect the downloads... top authors etc. its not going to work and whats even more obvious is the fact the suggestion is already dividing the community.
Hey Bakerstreet maybe its not tortilla's causing the drain it maybe the napkins... lets prevent the use of napkins and hey how about forks who needs those at rush hour... change the limit on downloads for non subscribers. its fair and doesn't effect the quality of the content on the site... I like my customized desktop to include walls. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN
If you purchased object bar then just go to the stardock page for OB https://www.stardock.com/products/objectbar/downloads.asp click the link to download the enhanced version enter your email they will send you the link... be sure to use the same email you used to buy OB.
I would not doubt stardock's abilities however they currently have a good relationship with MS. They have been given the MS seal on their products as far as XP goes ... not so sure a company would want to put strain on that relationship. I garrentee that a full shell replacement would not get the rubber stamp. Although this sort of action by Stardock should not effect other products they make, I have a funny that MS would see that it did. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/not
