Well Aaberq, your advice worked. I immediately purchased the Drengin's 4 best starbases (a couple deep in their territory) over the next few turns. They were given away for about 3000 over 3 years each, which I thought was a bargain. My investment in culture bombing then paid off, as 4 planets then flipped over to me. I don't have any tech to spare, although occasionally I am stealing some off him. I don't know how many techs there are left. From memory, I'm researching near omnipotence ( or maybe it was onmiscience) We're basically running almost neck on neck with techs, altough I think the Drengins are getting each new tech a few turns in front of me. Stalemate in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Well, its just me the Drengins and the Carinoids left. Drengins and I both have huge militarys (equal strength according to the graph) and are on the last available tech researches. They have close relations with me and all my trade routes except 2 go to them (10 in total). We both control about equal number of resources. However the Drengins don't seem to be upgrading their starbases at the sam rate as me. The Drengins have an off and on war with carinoids, and I've been supplying the

The circular galaxy...! in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Tell me if this a bad idea for an expansion pack. Remember the old video game asteroids? When you went off one side of the screen you appeared directly on the opposite side.... Why not do this with Galciv? It would eliminate the concept of 'being stuck in a corner' and would definitely make the initial expansion phase more interesting.;) You would never be more than half a map away from any other point on the map. G'day all.... I'm not (now)so inexperienced as the subject line may suggest, but I wanted it to stand out! Can anyone provide an inventory of all the minor races (and hopefully, their strengths / weaknesses) Off the top of my head... Deleting saved games....how do I?? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Hi all, Since upgrading with the expansion pack, Iseem to have lost the option to delete saved games :( Normally I delete all my old saved games before starting a new game, but I don't seem to be able to do this now... Am I missing something?? Stupot PS I have just had to submit a game to the metaverse twice in order for it to register - I got the usual error message on both occasions, which I understand is normal with the upgrade.
