Good Morning all, I agree with the point of not making too many changes in the way you win. I am just now trying to win my first normal Gigatic game via combat transports. It is sure taking a LONG TIME as I used the tight custlers and there is a long way to travel between strong holds. The idea that you have to win just by brute force would change the falver of this game. I like the idea of staying out of fights and winning by technology. If that needs to be a little harder

Good to see the New Hall is opened. SInce I only visited the Fellowsip a couple of times I did not even get lost looking for the new hall. This is great, but why only a free pint!! Well a poor newbie must take what he can find. Celeborne is still looking for a good adventure or two to raise some cash. Maybe tomorrow something will come around. Thanks for the advise. LOL It went really well and the company is getting a great kick start. Just have to keep the bill collectors guessing where I am located. I agree, it takes way too long to load this tread. I am on cable and it does take a while. But since this was my first experence with this type of an organization, I had nothing to compare it with. I am just now winning my first normal / gigantic game. I hope to get to the point where I can even attempt a crippling and can not imagine what the maso is like right now. We all have to start somewhere.

Thanks, I received the inventation. I will join when I return on 10/8. I am starting up a company and I have to lock up a supplier tomorrow. If everything goes as planned, I will be able to do this kind of stuff for work in a year or so. I will start lurking later this week.

I would be interested in oining, but I am not sure how this would work. I can spend an hour or so a day also. I am strating up a company which means some days I have hours of free time and then the next it is 24 hours straight. But I would be interested in learning if this would work and determine if I could commit the time.

Madness it does seem to be. I do not know if I will ever be able to join the writing, but I might give it a try later. I have the same issue of combining Middle Earth with Space, it would get confusing. Just image the surprise of the elf looking out a window and finding the stars have more worlds around them. The addition of logistics would make this game better. I think the object should be not to just control the number of star bases, but also their size. This has been mentioned by others before. Look at it like this, if I have a basic star base in the sector with Sol, it would not require too much effort to keep it supplied, like our current space station. But if I have a fully loaded base, full defense, culture, mining, etc. that is 5 sectors away that would require a major amount o

Hello, I am having the same problem even when I thought I had fixed it. I have submitted four scores and still can not find my name on the board. I did make the changes to my regisiter name as you recommended, but I still can not find my scores. Can you see what I am doing wrong. I already went through and made sure my alasis was correct. It was not at first, but I am sure it is correct now. Please help if possible. Alasis name is : Load Marshal (:(
