I enjoy the suites I have with MyColors. I just don't think with all there terminology you should have to re-boot windows to change a skin. And if I never had system restore I would be Pi$$ed right now! I mean look I lost all my skins! Boot skins Icons And windowblinds if you have this on your PC back up before you uninstall!!!! It even took mt defauld Windows XP theme. I was left with only the grey windows. Like I was looking back at Windows98.

Never did give a link to the new version of MyColors,you said was updated. Talk is cheap. You buy the product and support is nill to non.

dwax: There have been a lot of updates to MyColors. My suggestion would be to redownload the MyColors you have which has an updated ThemeManager. I might also ask why my problem has been ignored?!? I have sent you...Frogboy 3 messages asking for help.I have filled out 3 help tickets to support. And numerous posts on the forum. I don't have the plague,I am a paying customer with Stardock. But can't get no help.

Just out of curiosity I uninstalled MyColors. Guess what happened?!? It took all my windowBlinds folder all my Iconpackager folder. This is a big problem!!

Well re-downloading one of my MyColors suite, and tried it on a PC that WindowsBlinds worked perfect. Guess what!!! Now this one wont change skins unless you re- boot!!! You need to get this problem fixed!!! It's not just my problem I now have two PC's that way!!!

But I would be carefull in buying it!!! If it has not been fixed..... Like I have been asking for the last year, with "NO" responce! You could be in the same situation I am! Any time I want to change a skin I have to re-boot windows. And you can't uninstall MyColors. if you doo, it takes every thing! Icon packager windowblinds All your themes and skins are gone! Been waiting for a fix for ever with no response!

Since I have to re-boot my PC every time I change skins I do it once a week. If they would "FIX" MyColors, or give us the new version ( like they promised ) I wouldn't have this problem.

These are some nice themes. how do you figgure out if you have the latest version of the program MyColors? and there seems to be a problem with compatibility with MyColors and Windowblinds. Since I have had MyColors when you change skins in Windowblinds it wont change until I restart my PC! I think I found out what is causing this to happen. I have several skins I bought and are run through Stardock MyColors when I use MyColors it skins every thing and don't have to reboot. I wonder if it is giving Windowblinds a problem. Maybe not compatible??

I wouldn't expect receiving much support with an attitude like that. Like that would be the first time that would happen,I have asked here and many times sent a email to support. It's always hurry give us your money, but wait support stand in line.

dWax I would look into upgrading the graphics card a bit more to atleast a x1300 and configuring the wb's you use via wb configuration window instead of display propeties... SGT LOL the Saphire X800 will walk all over the x1300 it will even out do the x1600 and x16

I don't have to restart.. try going to display properties, then settings, then advanced, and then under general choose apply new display settings without restarting. Thats the way I have it set, but still have the problem. in fact it tries to change the skin but only about half or so is changed. Unless I reboot it wont complete the change. This started when I upgraded to WB 5.5

I seem to be having a problem with WB ver 5.5 When you apply the skin it wont change. unless you restart windows it will stay the old skin. gets old restarting all the time.
