Really bad timing for me. Icon Packager refused to open and Office 10 was a mess. Had to do a system restore and now have to redo all of the critical updates I installed earlier today. I knew I should put the WB install off until tomorrow but I didn't and now I have to pay the price. Too bad it was released on the same day as MS critical updates.

Geez, that was kinda my point! The sight issues that were caused by an update to the forums have been going on for about eight months now and yet they should be an easy fix compared to developing an app. If it takes this long to get something that should be fairly easy to fix done, how long will it take to get a major project done? Just sayiong that the sale of Impulse was not a spur of the moment thing and in reality a replacement should have been in place before the transaction took place.
Nothing like putting the proverbial cart before the horse. The proper way to conduct business would have been to have an alternate download system in place to take over as soon as Impulse was sold. I have two brothers and a sister on the coast of Virginia, the Tidewater area and my sis says they have been without power since about noon and the eye of the storm should have just passed over them if predictions are right. She said the rain was relentless but the winds have not been too ferocious as of yet. She just finished remodeling her home and is worried about the flooding as she is close to the Elizabeth river. Does not make a difference if using Impulse or the store. This version of WB simply is not ready for prime time. It really messed up my system [e digicons]x_x[/e]
I downloaded the update from the Stardock store and it totally messed up my WindowBlinds. Reverted to classic, setting it to Aero messed up the fonts, setting it back to my current skin reverted back to classic. Rebooting did not fix it and WB no longer would load at startup. Did a system restore to get rid of it. Obviously there is a problem with this update. Will wait for a newer version! [e digicons]:')[/e]
