Use caution if installing "Device Doctor" as it comes bundled with the "Ask Tool Bar". I hate that Ask toolbar with a passion. I installed something I figured would be useful from Softpedia one day [can't remember exactly what it was now] and the Ask toolbar was covertly installed with it... no opt out, not even a notification it was part of the package. I soon discovered it was there, though, because it hijacked

Surely it is time for some of you to face the facts tha Xp is over ten years old and is yesterdays technology and it is time to put it out to pasture. Windows 7 is the best version of the OS that I have ever had the pleasure of work
Firefox is slow as a stone for me. It takes more than 9 minutes to load WC. Must be your hardware or connection. WC loads quick for me on Firefox. I've been using Firefox for years with WC. Yes there are times when WC loads slow but never that slow. Minute at the most.
If that were the case than IE would be just as slow! Reminds me of a funny story. Shortly after XP came out, my son drove to Denver from Wyoming to install XP on my system. I was using Windows Me at the time. He was not gone two hours before I rolled my system back because I was not comfortable with all of the changes. It was pretty near a year before I finally decided that I wanted to upgrade back to XP and this time I had to go out and buy the disk myself because he was fed up with me and my back wards ways. I was forced into Vista when

Geez, it would be nice to have the broken things fixed also. My filter settings have not worked for over two months and the "yesterdays" and "alltime" most popular are still backwards! The new changes are nice but getting things that are supposed to work fixed would certainly be more appreciated by moi.[e digicons]x_x[/e]

It only comes with the newer versions of Photoshop so if you have uninstalled the trial and gone back to PS7 you would have no need for it as "Version Cue" is not available in the PS7. FYI[e digicons]:inlove:[/e]
Desktop Nexus display lots of stolen artwork. They have a reporting system, but they never get back to you and never take down the stolen images. Fyi, Uvah, Bonjour is part of Photoshops "Version cue"[e digicons]:meow:[/e] which lets you store and collaborate on line with other artists and authors. Sorta of like a file sharing app that lets you share and work on others projects.

It is not a big deal with me either but to state that Microsoft caused it when you do not know that for a fact is misleading. On my machine, the updates through Impulse triggered something to make the text appear. I did not do any Windows updates on or around the time it appeared on my machine. This is not an OEM version but it is an update from Vista to Win7 last year. We will most likely never know what caused it but in my case, I know for a fact that it was

I had no pending updates from Microsoft. I do not know which of the 4 updates through Impulse prompted it and I don't know if doing a System Restore and installing the 4 updates in Impulse seperately with reboot between would identify waht prompted the text to appear. I could do it for reasons of helping others but to me it isn't that big of a deal, just curious to know why it suddenly appeared after a year and a half of it never being there. It definately

I have WB set to always use the font of my choice so it does not use any skin supplied fonts. You can also set the size of the font by clicking on fonts in WB and then "change individual skin fonts" I used to change them in Skinstudio years ago but have not had to do that with the latest versions of WB. Hope this is helpful.[e digicons]

Somehow, this just does not sound right. Each of the items listed by Jazzymjr are changed individually in the Windows advanced settings so I would think that could be done in SKS. The Icon test inWindows controls the text in Explorer. Don't know if this helps.[e digicons]:meow:[/e]
