How do you turn this on? I see it constantly in the screenshots and whatnot, but I don't knwo how to turn the functionality on.
https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=13&SkinID=3151 Here it is locally uploaded in screenshots post comments
just tried that...no dice...sorry still no scrollbar gripper...I see the scrollbar thumb...but no gripper on the horizontal one...the vertical one works
ok cool...yeah wallpaper is mainly a proof of concept right now...its a basic layout...I'm gonna do more to it to break up the texturing...thanx
maby you should use a little 'bigger' texture, you can see exactly that it is the same all over again. hmm...yeah, for the wallpaper thats for certain...I don't want to go too big on the windows tho to keep file sizes down...you are referring to the wallpaper right?
eh, yeah sorta...I've been using red and dark grey as my windows colors LONG before windowblinds...I was using red and black and red and grey back in the old BBS 1200bps days, so I've got much practice integrating those colors Thanx for the feedback tho!
Lookign for some early feedback on this before I release a test version...this is just a screenshot of it, so let me know if ya think I'm at least heading in the right direction Deviantart link: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/3329814/
wait...you mean my scrollbar thumb can't be translucent and still see the gripper??? cuz it is translucent.
ok...I'm at work and am now unable to access the latest version of SS which I have at home...my code for the scrollbar looks like this: [Scrollbar] Image=Dark Temple\scrollbarbuttons.bmp Thats all...shouldn't there be more??? I swiped the following from Doublet and it didn't help: TopHeight=0 BottomHeight=0 LeftWidth=0 RightWidth=0 MouseOver=0 Tile=0 What else could I add?
hmmm...I've played around with the image margins...currently they're set to all 0...I'll try checkign the content margin though.
If it makes any difference, the gripper shows up in SS...but when the skin is applied, it does not...I DO get the gripper in OTHER skins though, so theres GOTTA be something going on with my skin.
I tried that too
I've got rid of all my errors, I've removed the section from my code, and I've reimported the image over and over in different orders and different ways...but no matter what, I see the gripper on my vertical scrollbar and I DON'T see it on my horizontal scrollbar....the weird thing is that the grippers are part of the same file...scrollbarbuttons.bmp...the same file that has the up, down, left, and right buttons as well as the corner image for the scrollbar...why is one showing and the other not
nope, thats not it...its enabled...and I even tried disabling it...saving, aplying, and then re-enabling it...no dice...it won't show up.
must have been the transparency setting then. I still can't get the little center piece to my horizontal scrollbar to show up.
hmm....it was either the transparency or the .tga...I changed it to .tga and it worked....weird.
ok...I'm currently using doublet as my wb skin....I opened it up and the pushbuttons are 375x22 for the whole image...which makes each one 75x2...I shrunk mine down to 64x22 for each frame...still they show up black...does this image HAVE to be a .tga?
oh btw....that still doesn't explain the scrollbar gripper image missing...it shows on the vertical scrollbar but not on the horizontal one.
nope...no trial..I'm runnign full object desktop and I recently upgraded to SS Pro. The ones that show black are: System Buttons 128x28 for each frame, margins L:15 T:6 R:15 B:6 Tabs and toolbars use the same image with same settings... whats the min/max size of those particular images and is there an updated list of what those sizes are somewhere?
I still can't upload to the winamp v2 section. I tried .zip and .wsz...wouldn't take either....it doesn't TELL me which file had the wrong name...I made sure the preview was a .jpg. Any ideas?
Well, I have no clue why this is happening....I'm open to soem actual suggestions.
hmmm....trail....whats a trail? I've never seen an option for trail...point me int he proper direction oh great one pwease
ok...I'll give that a shot...BUT...that dont' make sense for the horizontal scrollbar vertical dot...The vertical scrollbar horizontal dot shows, but the horizontal one dont...and they're from the same file.
are there any guidelines out there on what margins are allowed for certain parts? because I don't think any of my margins are whacked or anything...they're all pretty standardized. And they stretch/tile alright in SS.
