LOL Empires will come aplenty once the game is launched. There are no plans for the forums to have their own empire section as in GC1 so expect to see LOTS of empire related posts come next week. BTW why not start your own empire its easily done

I have been in on the beta testing from the start and can tell you that even now i am still excited about the launch of the game!! My enthusiasm for the sequal to the great Calactic Civilizations has never wavered from the time i first read of the planned new game, right up to now Stardock, Brad and his team are a fanta

Great idea. One thing though.. Could you please indicate how big the links are. For those of us over the other side of the Atlantic, the speed we receive data at is somewhat reduced and it would be nice knowing how big a file we are looking at downloading

GC1 was a speed game where as GCII is more aimed at a longer play. I have never been one for micro-management, however now you can pretty much decide how much you want to manage and how much to let the computer take over for you!! The ship building and design are fantastic too and very easy to use to boot. You will find yourselves spending huge amounts of time lovingly putting the finishing touches to your new strike cruiser, only to habe it blown-up by the Draginol as soon as they see it <img s

In GCI it made an impact from the start and that was one of the things i liked about the game! Now i may have this all wrong and it is making a difference and i just cant see it, and

1) From Kim at Stardock sales.. You get the same as those that pre-order at present. Basically for $20 you are purchasing the Collectors edition. 2) Sorry not sure but i believe the answer is yes. TGN move 1 serial holders will receive the same as those who have pre-ordered.

Well i have had access to the beta from the start and whilst i do like the new game, as parts of it far outstrip GC1, i am still playing GC1 and thoroughly enjoying it. I guess as Galciv 1 mods manager i do have all the resources at hand (after single handly checking most of the mods out) it is no more than the rest of you can get. My version of the game is far removed from the simple one i first bought in a local shop because i liked the look of the box, it is so modded i doubt many things are
