It has that onboard video stuff
Does it have enough RAM allocated to video in the bios? Not a lot of room to play with only 512 meg. That would be something you might be able to bump up if you get more memory, you'd have to take a look at what it's got for real video memory and what the bios options are.
You get the same screen, it's just 1.5X bigger
Ya I think we're saying the same thing. Now if I could have a 36" screen at say around 2400 a couple of feet in front of me, that would be awesome, launch the rockets [e digicons][/e]
A hypothetical shrink of that 1080 DPI 36" TV down to 24" would get you 1620 DPI.
Not quite sure what you mean, but no it would only get you 1080 pixel rows to work with. They'd look better up close because they'd be tighter, maybe that's what you mean.

^ Ya the article makes a quick reference to their past antitrust suits and then kind of says "after that". On the one hand it's good that they're doing what they're doing now. On the other hand, I suspect it's a lot easier to be ethical and take the high road after you've savagely obliterated your competition.
Some thoughts?
Oh I still use it. I don't change them all the time but I do occasionally, I certainly have my favorites. One thing I also like to do is go into Icon Developer and extract the 256 sizes of particular icons I really like from within a pack and use them in docks, makes for some great-looking docks. (If Stardock would put the Dragon Icon set out for sale separately for $5 like they've done for some of their other theme icons, I'd buy it i

Be warned that the Disk Cleaner function picked up my WinStep WorkShelf layout backups (file extension .wbk) as Word backups and deleted them. I fished them back out of the Recycle Bin. Probably a good idea in general to go through the Recycle Bin and have a look at what it deleted. On the bright side it did seem to pull out a fair amount of junk. [e digicons]^_^[/e]

Po the Pale Moon really is a fair amount faster on my machine than even the current FireFox and it's essentially the same thing, you might want to give it a whirl. Enough of a speed difference I can see it, no stopwatch required.

Might try: Go into Impulse Disable Anti-virus Shift-Rightclick on Windowblinds and select "verify installation" - should then tell you Windowblinds is not installed correctly At that point Impulse will probably show an update is available. Right click on it and select "Update". If it doesn't show an update is available, Shift-Rightclick on Windowblinds and select "Repair". Either way, after it does whichever, re

Ok, you all got me curious about Firefox and Pale Moon, so I've given them a spin. I imagine I'll be uninstalling Firefox, Pale Moon is visibly faster on this box and I don't see any reason to have them both. I think Opera is still quicker though. I think in general I like Opera a little better. It has a couple of features I really like that I don't see in Pale Moon (although they could be covered with some plugin somewhere). I like Opera's setting to delete al

Of course I have. [e digicons]\o/[/e] [e digicons][/e] Every once in awhile just for fun I click through the pages on the WB gallery and just kind of take them in, kind of a bird's eye view. I did that a couple of weeks ago and it's really incredible these days - page after page after page packed with really gorgeous skins, truly impressive. [e digicons]:)[/e]

When you are saving the image that you're going to use as the bottom panel, you're not naming it 201.bmp are you? You need to save it with some other name, like BottomPanel.bmp and let LogonStudio save it as 201 or it'll crash.

If I read the OP right the sites were put up to spread viruses as opposed to fraudulent collections. Makes sense in a twisted sort of way. If you want to spread viruses put them out there in a way that will get a lot of hits. That is after all what these guys do, and spreading viruses is hardly a mission high on the ethics scale.
Amazing program. One question to the "web" tab: it shows only the browser window and not every single tab, maybe it's only a problem with my Google Chrome browser. Does this problem exist in others browsers?
Opera isn't showing at all on Web page. IE is, with only the active tab.

Pretty cool so far [e digicons][/e] I'd suggest adding a color-picker for the page labels, at least when using "Match current system skin" option (one of my favorite features [e digicons]:)[/e] ) The color that it automatically pulls for the labels seems to be a little problematic, frequently dark on dark background. That's on XP if it matters. - And thanks again for including XP in this.
