No... it was a news item on CNN.
It was a news item about a political problem. Uvah was wrong to say 'nuff said, but the relationship between U.S. consumer electronics prices and Chinese labor practices such as those at Foxconn is absolutely political. Except perhaps for some of those folks who believe that markets are natural phenomena just like weather or plate tectonics.
Again:

Colds and flus make for runny discharge. Boogers are the year-round product of particulates hitting your sinuses.

Banned because all you have to do is ask someone who's eaten someone else. Except maybe for the folks who eat only brains; not sure if pork brains taste different than cow brains or sheep brains.

Banned because us North Florida folks are having a yo-yo winter. Last year, things were scary-cold. We had an astounding number of hours with below-freezing air temps. This year, many of us are hoping that the rich Yankees are watching the weather and thinking about quick trips down here so they can wallow in the semi-apocryphal Florida weather that helped fuel our economy back in the 20th. I've seen snow in my home town, this week or so plenty of folks are running around in short

Banned because even though I understand basic physics, I still can't really remember why a powered snow-thrower is mechanically different from a leaf-blower. People who live where water reliably turns solid on account of weather have always struck me as crazy...

I think far more quickly than I can speak; being able to read a student paper and add markup and comments without using a keyboard or my voice would make grading go much faster for me.</

They're irrelevant in why I use the sleep/suspend/hibernate/calm-down-and-wait-til-i'm-back features. Please explain why/how disabling the nap-time functionality is part of keeping a clean rig.

Banned because I dunno what Fuzzy is talking about, but his remark followed by Ryat mentioning "teddy bears" makes me think of some really weird possibilities. Like something that should have been in John Waters' A Dirty Shame . I'm open-minded and no prude, but everybody has limits...

I've lost track of what Mikey calls the mishmash of functions, but I've long relied on being able to put my (non-mobile) rig to bed and wake it up with my desktop just where I left it. The only problems that I've noticed are with resource hogs like a game and picky network stuff like an Outlook connection to an IMAP server. Am I unknowingly choking my swap file, clutter

I've long ago abandoned specific arguments about the game mechanics. But, also quite some time ago, I came to believe that magic should be the only research tree in the game and that the other abilities and assets should be gained through developing cities, trading, and recruiting champions. The devs seem to have decided to drop from four to three trees. I'm hoping that for the first true Elemental 2, they might consider simplifying the tree part of the game even further. As-is, the n
