Butch, if I commented "verry nice" or "super" or whatever it is on EVERY skin you upload, don't you think by the end of it...it would lose it's meaning and I'm just commenting for comments-sake. People do think your comments are a bit of a joke, and I promise you it's very noticable to anyone who spends a bit of time on this site. EVERY SINGLE skin you comment on butch, I even see 3-year old LITESTEP skins

Finding a blue glossy Windowblind...how hard could that be? Browse the library, and I'm positive you will find 100's of them...surely one of them will fit your description.

If It means I feel like StarDock is screwing me, then that's the way I see it, and no amount of diatribe is going to change my mind. How are they screwing you? ODNT came with DesktopX Enhanced...and...ummmm...ODNT still comes with DesktopX Enhanced. Explain it to me in 3 sentences or less and I'll per

You keep digging that hole bigger and bigger Cygnus. The fact remains is this. Your ODNT subscription WILL NOT be changed because of this "seperation". You will STILL get DesktopX Enhanced . YOU NEVER HAD PRO BEFORE, AND NEVER WILL HAVE PRO UNLESS YOU BUY IT! It has ALWAYS been like that! Whether you knew about it or not... Now please, stop these idiotic rants, they are pointless. <img s

Cygnus...ODNT will come with DesktopX Enhanced (the one for $24.95), which will do EXACTLY the same thing as the DesktopX that is available now! I have no idea what you're arguing! All they did was made a seperate program for $14.95 that simply runs DX-content...but doesn't allow you to create it. You don't need this as an ODNT subscriber, as you already have the enhanced version. Then they REDUCED the pr

1) DesktopX itself, is what's used to make widgets. You need to be concerned with the Properties box of an object. 2) DX uses VBScript or JScript via Windows Scripting, in combination with DXScript (Object.---, etc.) which you will have to learn. Check the resources on http://www.desktopx.net 3) Once you have your object setup the way you want, simply right-click on it...and Export to widg

Here's my view on specifically the .msstyle to .wba ports... If you simply load a .msstyle, import it with SKS, then save it as a .wba and upload it without doing a single thing to it, then you are not a skinner, nor are you a porter...you're just a button-clicker. That takes zero skill, and should not be recognized as such. However, if you take the same .msstyle, import it with SKS,

Let's see...back in um...1996 or 1997, I got a new Pentium II 133 and one of those AOL 2.5 disks...and needed a cool screenname. So "Hustler" was the best I could come up with at the time, because I was real big on pool [might of made it to the pros, if I didn't quit]. When I learned how to use PC's a bit more, I gave up AOL and shortened it to "Hus", and have been that way for almost 8-9 years now. The user-pic, is kinda self-explanatory... <img s

My "perfect" theme would be like this: 1. The theme should be completely colorizable, so it can always match with your desktop. 2. I'm a fan of dark. 3. Having it do complicated things in a simple way is always a good thing. I wouldn't want to use a theme that is overly complicated to use. It

You've got a fan, Mormegil! I'm really looking foward to the next video...the first one was better than 7/8ths of the TV shows I watch. Thanks again for exposing your genius-like CorelDRAW skills...

Butch, out of respect for the author, it's best to email him directly and ask for permission. That just goes for any themes you want to port, written permission is always needed. I often see vague readme's like this, but even if the file implicitly said "port and distribute as you wish", it's STILL best to get permission directly! That way it can never come back to bite you in the future...

Honestly, I like the new site better. There are still some minor tweaks here and there to fix, but overall, I am finding it easier, and more efficient of a website to use. Here's a list of tweaks/bugs I still run into...few of them have already been mentioned. Not being able to return to whatever gallery when viewing a skin is annoying. When post

#127 by Developer AthleticTrainer1981 - I swear it's like beating your head against a brick wall. You don't get anything but a big headache and lots of aggrevation. I had written a quite lengthy and down-right nasty response to all the haters in this thread, but instead I just want to say how much I lov

It's not like they are likely buy Windowblinds, or any paid product for that matter, anyways. You could literally tell them that " .msstyles outperforms windowblinds in every way, has way more features, is easier to skin, and will hook you up with a beautiful girl", and I can almost see the "OMGWTFLOL more m0n3y for $tardock" replies in my head. For some reason, and I have yet to figure this out, they trash everything you say, simply because you
