Using WB 7.2 with "Autumn Arrival 7" by jazzymjr with no issues. Updated to WB 7.3 using Impulse, then reboot. Upon login, greeted with dialog box: Access violation at address 66019CE9 in module 'WBLIND.dll. Read of address 42E4B003. Try to run WB Config, but no window. Program Manager shows SevenConfig start then immediately exit. Unload WB through system tray icon. Start WB Config and select older WB "Autumn Arrival" by jazzymjr with no issues. WB
Let me make myself quite clear. Both Winstep and System Explorer are excellent products, but the combination of the two is trouble. Only applications like System Explorer and apparently Net Balancer that create unique system tray icons can create this large number of PNG files and registry entries. Starting with version 11.5 (possibly earlier) NextSTART squirrels away a PNG of each Systray icon change in C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Winstep\Systray. Downloaded, installed and I am immediately in love with Bins! I have used Object Dock 1 and 2 as well as Fences. OD* looks pretty, but I found it more intrusive than usable. Fences was just plain annoying. Bins, however, is just what I have been looking for without knowing it.
I bought a Color Nook from Barnes and Noble. I had some difficulty with getting the WiFi to work with the installed Android 1.2.0, but was able to resolve this once I installed Android 1.3.0 at B&N. The Color Nook not only handles eBooks nicely, but it also has a growing list of apps. It comes with an internet browser and a music player. I would like to see theme setting support for an arbitrary WMI string which would allow access to virtually any system information. Of course you would need to know the WMI string specification, but this information is readily available from Scriptomatic V2 or the System Explorer WMI browsers. I have sent email to Xymantix before, but I have never received any response. Maybe someone at Wincustomize knows Nick and can pass on my request.
I installed IE9 RC yesterday and then began to experience problems with Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI). Some gadget monitoring such as network information continued to work while CPU and Process information stopped working. Doing a restore prior to the IE9 RC installation solved the problem.

The problem is not with closing the laptop lid, but when the computer goes to the Suspend or Hibernate state. The problem seems to be related to how long the laptop has been in one of these two states. The longer the laptop is in the Suspend or Hibernate state when WFX4 is Enabled, the longer it appears to take to recover, but it does seem to recover eventually. Stardock Virtual Desktops installs fine, but there is no Taskbar->Toolbar context menu item even after a restart. I like the WB5 beta release, but I have two issues. The bottom quarter of the task/system bar is off the screen. If I turn off the Basic Settings Task Bar option, then the task bar is the correct size, sans skin. I am running on an HP zd7260 laptop with a 1680x1050 screen resolution (changing resolution doesn't help). I never had this problem with WB4.
