Started my own site in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

As some of you already noticed I took the step and started my own site. As of now all of my work of course will be available there. Of course a part of it will be posted here too. But it's not just my work you'll find at my site. Already a couple of artists have submitted theirs too..... So this is trhread number 1.274.658.564 or something like that about ratings. And nothing changes and I guess will never change. So IMHO the solution is to leave it all like it is and pay no attention to whatever rating is given. Comments ditto unless something constructive is left. Sure, it's nice to have comments like "great, nice" and so on , better then "crap" but it doesn't anything at all what makes me benefit.

Tnx Minorgod for the kind words. The displaying of ram etc is done using sysmetrix, a marvelous freeware program by Xymantix ( Link ). That program is totally skinnable as you may discover browsing the available skins here at WC (as on many more sites). For the CP27 4WB you can use the matching CP23 4SMX with the transparent mode <a href="http://pinchecl.wincustomize.com/viewskin.aspx?ski

New version of Rainlendar available in WinCustomize News JoeUser Forums

Found out that a new interesting version of the freeware Rainlendar is available. It has some interesting new possibilities like multiple calendars visible so it can show as many months as you like in both vertical and horizontal way. Apart from that all events for the week can be listed in a separate window...

Well, the good thing of it all is that it is obvious that the lot of you/us agree on the way people should (not) comment. Together with the commonly rapid reactions of the admins on the abusing kind of comments to me that is enough reason not to want any kind of editing possibility.

Just tried to upload a wb. Said it is accepted and automatically approved as it should be. And it should be available in a minute. Still, after 10 min nothing yet. Apart from that: checks for shellstyles, animations and so on aren't available.

Thanks for all those kind words people. It's nice to see most people do appreciate the work that is involved whether it is good or not. And to be completely clear: I welcome critics on my work because I think that can only make you grow. It's the tone that makes the message!

tnx for acting fuzzy, and I will use email in the future(although I hope I won't need it.....). And tnx tiggz, you are right about both the rude and the friendly comments. Still, it's frustrating if people react that way. Oh well, have to get used to that I suppose

Tnx slinky and Scarebear. And sure, I know and trust this sites admins to remove htis kind of comments but it's a pity to have to take action to do so. This kind of comment shouldn't be here at all......And again, I'ld like people to criticize what I do but just with a normal amount of respect!

Somehow the last few days I get comments in a way I don't really like. Of course people may like or dislike my submissions but I expect a little respect from both. Now check this out. Haven't got a clue on the parsing error. Seems to me you did everything right. The problem with the email is that gmail isn't, as far as I know, a popmail which is the only kind sysmetrix can handle

First tN Brat is not allowed to upload suites which contains parts or all of my work because its not entirely hers', now this. What in heavens name is going on here? If it is a rule, fine. But why do I see several suites appear no different from the one she wanted to upload. And does that mean the lot of us can expect an email with the same message? >
