I've had several PM's asking what the deal is with blinds being downloaded from the site as ZIP files instead of the expected WBA file that was uploaded in the first place. My suggested remedy is to change the ZIP extension to a WBA one and double click, which I believe will do the trick. however, why is this happening in the first place???

Josh, try "edit vista/7explorer parts" "favorite links background". Use a graphic but a solid color probably works best. edit, that may not be it either, sorry.

going over it will show the desktop, when you move away it changes back. by clicking on it you can move the mouse pointer away and just the desktop remains.

if you just changed the blind you're using sometimes it may just need a repaint, reapply the skin and see if that corrects the problem.
if your talking about the search box located at the bottom left hand corner of the start menu? the graphic for this is located in the section, Edit Vista/7 Explorer parts, search field background, listed under the "glassy areas".

If these counts are correct I'll probably leave it up on the WC site but still remove it from the GIUC competition.
