also i looked in regedit and foud the stardock wincustomize file, logon studio was there but not boot skin, i searched in regedit for boot skin there is a path for it but none in the wincustomize file, i am wondering if that has something to do with it, in my programs under wincustomize it is in there, but not in regedit

yep, XP, compaq as well, i tried the boot XP after this didn't work, but it was worst, it started to show the bootskin but the color was off and then it restarted again and i had to reboot in safe mode and restore system settings, i am running in 32 bit color, i tried to put it on 16 with the bootskin from here but it still did not work, i even tried turning my security off to see if it was keeping me from changing script or something

yes all of them, i tried the ones that were already in there also ones i have downloaded, i have no clue what is wrong

ok, is there something else i need to download besides the bootskin beta file??? it still didn't show in regedit nor did it work, do you have an instant messenger like yahoo or msn? maybe we can figure this out quicker or something

ok, yes i am definatly uninstalling boot XP it was worst than the other, i HAD to start in safe mode and restore to earlier point, thank God for system restore,i will try that even though i love my logons...lol but i will try it, i will be back in a few i have dial up so it will take me a min...

no, i just now installed the one from boot XP haven't tried it yet, i did notice while searching in the regecit that the only thing listed under wincustomize is the log on studio, i couldn't find bootskins in there (regedit) could that be it and if so how can i fix it?

yes, it will load when installed too, but i have to take it to the last good configuration but it goes back to original XP boot screen

can someone please help me, i can't seem to get the bootskins to work, when i restart my computer i get a message that windows was unable to start properly and asks me to start in safe mode or last good configuration, i have tried to reinstall but no luck, i have windows XP, i really like these bootskins can someone help me so i can be able to use them??
