Hi everyone, Regarding the Monitor ID, I've now logged the request internally. Internal Ref: ODNT-8828 Thanks much for the feedback. Jerry, Regarding your post, is it not already possible at least to apply a background to a specific monitor? Once you select an installed background you should see something like what I've pictured below. Note the options to apply to all monitors, or to dropdown select a specific monitor to apply the background

Thank you for pointing these questions out, pelaird. I welcome luciensabre let us know if any of this is incorrect, as we will keep an eye here to control variables and attempt to reproduce the reported problem. To clarify where we're at, here's what I think we know:
Do you have the taskbar set at the top or bottom?
The screencap in the initial post appears to show a bottom aligned taskbar. Hi luciensabre,
I’m pretty much already in Clean Boot when I open my laptop, as I only have one other startup program that launches alongside Start11 when Windows starts. I’ve already tried to uninstall that program (to verify eventual conflicts), but it changed nothing. If you're in the Northern Hemisphere, you may have noticed a recent change of seasons. That's right, we've entered the first week of Fall! If you like to decorate, what better way to complete your seasonal display than with some expertly crafted desktop customization? The search function on the top right of the WinCustomize Gallery is a great place to start. Here, you can simply type in "<a href="https://www

Hi samuryan89, You said:
The default Windows 11 start menu does show newly installed apps without having to restart Explorer. Here's what I've found in a Sandbox Client reproductio
Here's something I just noticed: I have some fences that are sorted by "Number of times opened". If I select an icon with the mouse and double-click to open, then eventually the program shortcut will advance to the top. However, if I select the icon with the mouse and press Enter to open it, it will descend in the rankings. Interesting, huh? I'm on Fences 5.8.1 and Windows 10 Versio

Hello, I have reproduced ActionTier's issue on the secondary monitor using top aligned taskbar there. Under this configuration, I found that even when "Let Start11 enhance the taskbar" is set to On , right clicking doesn't produce anything at all. It also only seems to be an issue with Windows 11. I've now logged the finding for this internally. Internal Ref: ODNT-8769 However, this is quite different than what lanade

My reproduction indicates this is identical behavior to native Windows (10 or 11) even with Start11 disabled or uninstalled. As such, I can't confirm if anything can be done to work around this. I have however now logged it as a request for internal review. <span class="ui-provider a b c d e f g h i

From the many customization options available on WinCustomize, I'm always impressed by the elaborate options created with a real abstract appeal in mind. From surrealism to cubism to futurism and more, abstract artists have long seen prominence through countless artistic movements over generations and across the globe. Browsing through the WinCustomize Gallery , you can easily find an array of desktop w

Hello all, Quick update on this for whom it may concern. It appears this happens with transparent areas surrounding the Start Menu in certain WB skins, which can happen with the Mica effect on. Skins without transparent areas surrounding the Start Menu don't appear to be affected. At this time turning off the Mica effect seems to be the best solution for effected skins. In any case I've logged this so we can keep an eye on it. Internal reference:&nb

From the many customization options available on WinCustomize, some really impressive creations have been crafted with a keen eye for a more minimalistic appeal. Minimalism is generally a great design philosophy, as it emphasizes a pleasant experience in favor of sleek simplicity and an ease of functionality. Let's take a moment to showcase a few recently created examples of this sort of simple-yet-aesthetically-pleasant customization. <a href="https://www.wincust

Hi helion_prime, Thanks for posting. I've looked into this a bit on my end (same build of Win11 and with two monitors). For me, the docks seem to go to whichever monitor is available. For example, if I turn off my Primary monitor (where the docks are positioned) they go to the Secondary, etc. However, if I then turn the Primary back on, they restore back to the Primary without issue. I'm curious, does it happen this way for you? If no
