Well, it seems that I've been nominated for an award that I didn't know existed. I don't know how I was nominated or who nominated me, but I guess I should give thanks to where it is due. Normally, I'm a very competitive person, but since I have no idea what this is all about, I don't really care that much. I've noticed that there are a lot of repititions amongst the nominations, and feel like there should have been more outrageous categories to includ

Are you a psychopath who occasionally watches movies? Do you feel like your life doesn't have enough mindless information? Well, look no further because I, Film Fanatic, have found a way to waste your time, and create a special bond wit
You would think that most of the dialogue would be the same, but when you see as many movies with book adaptations that I have, you would see that isn't always the case. A lot of Hollywood writers will just do what they want once they've purchased the book rights. The other problem with Hollywood, is that producers will do anything they want. If you watch "An Evening with Kevin Smith," you'll hear about a producer named Jon Peters. He want
That probably isn't your fault. I read a few interviews that Clarke made, and after reading his endnotes, it seems he had trouble writing the story in a linear fashion. He changed the entire ending of 2001, when referenced in the other books, only because he figured more people had seen the movie than read the book, and he wanted to make it easier for them.
Last night, I lay awake in bed at 5:30am, chuckling to myself over something that happened 3 years ago. I was at the Classics Conference, yes a school conference to celebreate Latin (STOP LAUGHING!), and it was my second year attending. The previous year I came back lip-locked on the bus, so this year my hopes were high. I found out that it was our year to host the conference and that we would be organizing a lot of the events. The one oppurtunity that
Too much hotness for words.
I love to post pictures, not because it makes my blog look good, or it saves me some time from explaining things to the world. I love posting pictures because I get to add in little secret messages that appear when you hover the mouse over the picture. Take these for example. <img src="
im currently on level 12, the last level of the hidden tomb. The only help i could give is to remember to look for the sandwiches. Two colours on either side of two balls of a different colour. If you have alot of room before the skull. Try to destroy the bomb ones more than the other special balls. If you get closer, switch to trying to destroy the slow motion balls. I've also found that if you play it in the window version, instead of the fullscreen
It's Over. Never to be repeated again. Now What? A few days ago, I finished the last novel in Arthur C. Clarke's "Odyssey" series: 2001, 2010, 2061 and 3001. I enjoyed these books immensely. This was the first ser
I tend to travel to Yahoo Games frequently to partake in a little backgammon when the mood suits me, but one day I encountered a game called Inspector Parker. It was a murder mystery, and was one of those, "Here are a bunch of clues, solve the mystery" games. The ones that I got in math class. The ones I loathed so much, but nevertheless I beat it with impecable speed, and returned to Yahoo to find another gem. Oh i found a gem alright. It's name was Z
Cars by Gary Numan is a very intoxicating song for me. dharmagrl, im so glad yo mentioned Joy Division. I'm wondering what this radio station is....
Proposal accepted Sir Peter. I can't speak on behalf of Urban, but I accept. And Muggaz, good luck trying to throw bricks through my window. I don't have a home! hahaha......hey wait....aww man.
Oooo. Muggaz and Sir Peter's first fight. This relationships on the rocks. Muggaz if I were you I wouldn't patronize your master, or else he might whip you like Alexandria.
Other false-reality movies could be any of the Matrix films, Vanilla Sky, Waking Life or The Butterfly Effect. Sherye, I would recommend you see The Matrix if you enjoy philosophy. I have yet to see a better interpretation of Descartes, or a better use of Plato's Republic.
Catch me now! Im back baby!
Here is the post in question where everything began. It was this article that spawned the entire anti-feminist debate. It's not the post that began the debate but the hateful comments (which have been deleted) that began the antagonizing. I'm not trying to draw attention to you directly, but since I consider this to be MY "Life Journal," I feel that there is a need to comment on this event. Since my computer was down when the incident happened I wa

I only put them in the same category, because he's part of FOSP.
Have you ever suffered from so much stress that you felt like you were going to explode? Well, forget the yoga. Forget the meditation, and the 10 second breathing. The Future is Now! Today I slept in, and the fact that I missed so much of the day, left me in a pretty crummy mood, but thankfully, I've found the greatest way to get rid of my anger. Muggaz, and Sir Peter Maxwell. Sir Peter writes a fictitious blog that is a day-to-day journal of a billion
Well Muggaz, you were close in your assumption on my motives. If it wasn't for my lack of activities during the day, i probably wouldn't have said anything, but most of all I can't stand your inability to accept other opinions. I did like you at one point Muggaz, but now you just annoy me. The fact that you have to get your boyfriend to come help you fight your battles, is another thing that intrigues me. You two seem to be so homophobic, yet, you're n
I don't understand where in my article, I set myself up for an attack at my Libido. Can't a guy make a joke about a Doris Day flick, without being pounced on? I cast the evil eye at you.
Well Muggaz, despite my attempts to elevate your vocabulary to a third grade level, you still seem to want to live in this childish world. The fact that you didn't comment on my accusation that you are under 14, must mean that it is true. If in fact you do speak like a prehistoric numbskull for the benefit of others, it certainly doesn't do much for your character. Of all the comments you've written, I haven't a hint of your "normal" language. You are
Well I spent another night cooking more Egg Fried Rice. I made a batch last week, and it turned out to be scrumtrilescent. Tonight I decided to make a homemade stir-fry to go with my rice, instead of a chop suey, which I made the first time. The stir-fry was better than my chop suey, and my rice was excellent as always. I was a little worried that it might not taste good because last time, I made 6 servings, but this time....I made 18. So much rice...
Tonight I sat down and watched Daily Planet on the Discovery Channel. I do enjoy watching DP, because not only is it interesting, but I like the Jay and Natasha (is it because her name is Natasha?). The stories they do are actually good, not just mindless technical mumbo-jumbo that a few other shows do, so that the audience feels like their learning something. Their time slot, however, does not agree with me, because I love my Jeopardy. If I
I am one of those people who shortcut everything and make all of my resources available at the desktop, but i must say: I was a little disappointed when I didn't find anything about Spiderman in this post. Oh well.
