So it's boxing day night, and here I am at work surprise surprise! I'm sure you're all getting used to my weird ways of working by now... Had my parents over for lunch today. My partner's a chef, so he did the cooking while I was sleeping after working last night. We don't have a big house, so we had to squeeze the garden table in the front room so we could all sit down to eat - normally we eat off out laps in front of the tv! So, anyway, he says it's all ready and brings out what he su

Yeah, this is pretty good as a start. I wish more people would try and write! I like reading : ) H

Hello! I was a teen not that long ago (I'm 23 now), so I know where you are coming from. I felt completely misunderstood "back then", but now, looking back, I think that was just my *perception* of the world around me, and not what was really going on. Definitely do what you want to do, and always try to do your best, but not at the expense of others. Have fun in the transition to "adulthood"!! H

Well, here goes... I'm engaged (we will have been together 3 years this new year), I don't have children, I'm an assistant manager at a residential home for physically and sensory disabled adults, I'm 23, and I live in Devon, UK. Hope that gives you an insight!! H

On a waking night again. Did I start another blog with that before?? It's Christmas night - actually, it's boxing day morning, to be precise: 1.10 am. I really really need sleep, and looking at this screen is not doing me any good at all!! I'll definitely be crashing into bed in about 7 hours time. That's ages! What a nice thought. There's not too much to do as there's only 11 clients, and I don't do care anyway. I've just got a small amount of paperwork to do, and then I'm done for the night/mo

So, I'm confused. I was just reading a post by Dingus - it's weird to connect people on this thing! Wow, things are weird for you at the moment, aren't they? I think if you love him and he loves you, you should try again cos if you lose him altogether and he was "THE ONE" then you'll regret it for the rest of your life. Tell him how you're feeling - it's the only way to sort this, I think. If he doesn't know, he can't help... He sounds like a great guy, so I hope it all works out for t

As promised, I'm going to try and put down here a few bits and bobs about me and my life so far. Probably more for me to take stock, than anything else, but please do read it if you're interested... 1st October 1980 - Born in John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK. I don't remember a huge amount about my early childhood (who does??), but I do remember having to have a playpen around the Christmas tree to stop me opening the presents! 1983 - I moved from my first home to

OK, you're right - you do post some good articles! I totally agree with you here. Of course Christians think about the meaning of Christmas, or why on earth would they call themselves Christians?? I know a good worship song can bring tears to my eyes, so hearing those Christmas carols this time of year is a great reminder - you don't always have to talk about it though... some people are so ignorant, it is unbelievable!! Cool - I didn't mean to belittle cleaning - there go my random wonderings getting me into trouble! I just meant from my perspective, I wouldn't do cleaning if I had the choice! I'm really glad you feel you do a good job, as that was the whole point of that post - people SHOULD be doing jobs more because they like them, and less because they need the money. Thanks for your post, H

So, here I am again, on ANOTHER waking night. I'm sure I'm doing far too many. I suppose it's the money that will make the difference, at the end of the day. I don't want to have to work to earn money. I want to work because I enjoy my job - that would be much better. To be doing something because I want to, and not because someone else has decreed it... I suppose there would be no more stress if that happened. But, then again, no one would have clean toilets, or empty rubbish bins!! Unless ther

So, does anyone actually read these? Please leave me some comments peeps! It would be nice to know that people are out there and have opinions... Helen

Depends if you're actually saying this to his face, or writing it? It's the kind of thing I might write if I had the nerve!! If you're syaing it, then I agree with CariElf, but you could also add your favourite last line, about wanting to spend another great night with him. That might entice him a bit! If you are wanting to say all of that to him, then I definitely suggest writing it down! Hope that helps a bit. Helen
