I just noticed that this was your first article. Welcome!

Well, I don't know anything about Ross or his goose, but it does look suspiciously like the goose in question is trying to blend into the local swan population. A spy perhaps? Perhaps it's going to bring down the whole swan aristocracy with their gaudy beauty and too long necks. More power to it! Or maybe I'm a little strange... Great slide show! Suz xxx
Wow. That was truly beautiful. You've made me all wistful...
You get an insightful for that LW. Very well said.
I'm so glad that this got spammed! It ties in nicely with an article I wrote over the weekend. I'm getting to the point where I'm liking my body for what it can do, not what it looks like. And if a man is going to reject me because I've got a couple of extra kilos on my belly, then I really don't want him, do I? Yay for the wobbly butt! Yay for the saggy/uneven/too big/too small boobs. Yay for cellulite and love handles and all the ot
Wow. It was really brave of you to share that. I know that it won't make any difference when we say that you can't be blamed for youthful selfishness. We all have these skeletons that we just can't clear out of the closet. And perhaps don't want to as we think that by repeatedly beating ourselves with them we will somehow 'pay back' what we've done, or feel the pain the we've caused others. Sure, it wasn't a nice thing to do, but you have obvi
I'm glad this got spammed. Very interesting!
Ooops. That was supposed to say 'Now' not 'No'. I didn't mean to imply that you as an entire person are immature but that the comment was. Sorry! *backing away from equine carcass*
I'm a little bit concerned with the idea that I have to be 'known' in order to receive responses You don't need to be 'known' but you seem to be asking for something that you're not prepared to give back. If you want a free flow of ideas you should be interested in comenting on other's ideas, not just p
it fed that deep craving I had for interaction with other adults Me too! I think that there are many people here that fill this mold. I look after a kid and whilst we get out and about through out the day, there isn't always the amount of adult company available that one such as myself requires (A LOT!
His loss not mine hey! It's the mantra I live by, baby! Hugs to you xxx
Becoming a monk sounds really good right now. As Young MC said 'Don't hang yourself with a celibate rope' Have the best day you can. Treat yourself for lunch, buy something little you have wanted for a while, and have lotsa drinks
I also have a frozen margarita and a cigarrette! Evil woman. I only have a glass of red and a cigarette. You win! Not all men are dogs. Phoenix is a great man
I know that there's no much I can say right now. I read your blogs all the time but never know how to comment so I'm in the strange position of feeling as though I know you far more than you know me. I hope I don't come over as too familiar. A broken heart is the sign of a heart that's still open. A heart that's still working. There is nothing I can say that will explain his behaviour. Just know that the fact that you are hurting makes you hum
What are you studying? I have had a long and convoluted path to higher education. I started a degree in Actuarial Studies and Applied Finance (I wanted to make lots of money - first big mistake). After realising that I would kill myself if I continued along this path I dropped out and took a year off.
Interesting. Although I'd like to see the research that proves this so called 'brain shrinkage'. Apart from that I whole heartedly agree.
I've tried scrubbing, but i find that steel wool can really tear at the skin in a frightful manner. Yeah. Don't try those acid peels either. red, raw, dissolved epidermis is not particularly becoming...
(If you discover the secret to that, please tell me how?) You've got yourself a deal, as long as it's a reciprical arrangement, OK?
Dr. Demento, Coming to take me away Little Whip, you've made my day. I sing this song endlessly and people have got to the point where they may indeed get someone to come and take me away as no one else has ever heard it! Kudos to you my lady. Nice NIN reference too. Wish I'd thought of it <img
Hey Helix, It's so true. I love the idiosyncrasies. The fact that no matter how we try to present ourselves something always slips out. And it is so endearing. I remember someone telling me that people with true strength are those that can show and appreciate their weaknesses. I wish there wasn't such a large difference between knowing something and doing it. Thanks for the comment. Marco - Again, words of absolute wisdom. I think that my
Thanks so much, guys. Actually, I often think it's people's imperfections i find most attractive. You are so right! Perfection is in the imperfect. And who likes to hang around someone that's god damn perfect? Who likes to feel inadequate all the time? <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%"
I’ve spent years hating my body. Literally thousands of hours have been poured into self loathing and revulsion, probably more effort than all the other things I’ve worked at combined. Yet is was all so easy, so childishly simple to tell myself that I was simply not enough. Deficient, damaged, inadequate, flawed, faulty, inferior junk. Imperfect beyond repair.
Geez... Imagine being younger than your nieces and nephews, let alone their children! The poor lady.
mascara dark circles even when I’m not wearing any. How does this happen? HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN? Have our bodies developed some strange mascara excretion glands such that we get panda eyes in the total absence of makeup? I hate it. I also hate it when I don't notice until about midday. But everyone else
