I would like to ask you this. I would like to know opinions about this. What species in Galactic Civilizations suffered the most? Especially from the major civilizations. My opinion would be Drath. They got almost genocided on their homeworld, Altaria, for no reason other than Altarians feared them. They were evacuated and found a new planet. They planned their return, but Terran stopp

I was talking about Drengin propaganda quite a lot some time ago and even wrote some myself. However, I recently began thinking, would other civilizations have their own propaganda? Terran, Arceans… Even Torians or Altarians? And what would that propaganda look like? Actually, there may be something. The image I attach is an Altarian communication w

As should be clear by now, I pretty much like Galactic Civilizations lore. And here, I would like to discuss a subject that was on my mind for quite some time. Terran Alliance military. While this exists as a gameplay element, I would like to discuss its lore side. In particular, what it wa

I had these four events during some of my recent games of Galactic Civilzations IV. I think they have potential and I would like to ask you if you have any ideas how they really happened. More details than the game shows. What kind of factions were involved in the mining dispute? What kind of pirates plague the sector? What happened that Mors Ven got gambling debt at the Yor? How it all would be reported to the leaders of their civilizations? What can you tell me about any of these ev

Galactic Civilizations IV’s events often have a story potential. I have thought about this for a long time, but I am now sure. The Events that appear on screen just briefly can be turned into great stories. I have recently read two such stories. Well, one is a story, another… an in - universe propaganda announcement. They were not written by myself, but at my request

I am somewhat confused how the powers of the Arnor worked (before they were stripped of them at the end of Gal Civ II). I always thought it was that, as long as they are connected to the Shards, they can think of any object and it appears. It may require some energy expenditure, but otherwise it is just by the power of thought, with the Shards / Orb as a conduit. But now, I have doubts. Do they really need some more elaborate “rituals&rdquo

It is known that ancient Altaria either is Elemental or is built on the same lore. However, I am confused about how much the Elemental culture has in common with modern Altarian culture. On one hand, it is noted in at least two places that a lot was forgotten since then. On the other hand, Akari Malara seems to be interested in the Altarian connection to the Precursors and using this connection. But it does not mean that she wants to rec

It's generally that they are a little bit too happy to genocide groups they belive to be evil. In Galactic Civilziaitons II Dark Avatar mission "Return of the Dread Lords" they tried to make the Drengin genocide the Korath and we learned in "Tales of the Arnor" Gal Civ IV mission that they tried to genocide the Yor too. And yes, this may be just Yor speaking lies, but the fact that they wanted to do the same to the Korath speaks for something. And, while the Korath Clan civilziaitons is very

It may happen in the future. It may be already happening. Hopefully, we will find something else. I didn;t post it initally because I was in a hurry, but here is how it started: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/9nhNGFkTm4Y I already wrote a clarificaiton in the comments. I might have made some mistakes, but I am no AI. also, please do not attack the author, he did some
