I still like to take my friends computers and take a screen shot of their desktop and then use it for the desktop background. Then I hide everything like icons and taskbar. I cant even get Litestep to work properly now. Looks like I got myself. Jafo Classes started today. But I hav'nt given up on that theme. I have been sitting here reading more documentation on Litestep.

Yup' I have to comment on that. My friends and family could care less about what I enjoy doing. 'skinning' But as soon as one of them has a problem with their computer and need it fixed. Then they sure do seem a little interested!

Every damn theme I install has a mind of its own. Fetchi can't stay still, Nondisjunction has that damn .box problem, Antares Flip shortcuts work when they want too. but half the time they just keep thier backs turned to me. Immortalized shows mutiple pics of my object dock when I use the multiple desktop to cycle. Gemini wont stay on top. andthat damn Nos os wont let me use the background. All of these minus 2 worked fine yesterday. Now Im so frustrated I could just sling this f*^$ing

Im so fed up with this crap. I reformatted my whole hard drive and now after reinstalling the lite step and themes. I cant even get any theme to work properly but the default one. What the hell is going on. Im so pissed. Not at you guys, just pissed it wont work after all I have done. Ok, I went to this site http://shellfront.org/department.php?id=litestep and on the right side of the page there is an installer that says "Lite Step Installer" I downloaded and installed it "fresh" Then I did like Jafo suggested above and downloaded the RC3 files and put them in the c:\litestep\ directory. Then I downloaded and installed the Fetchi Lite Step theme and installed it by double clicking it. It downloaded the modules and I double checked to ensu

I have a clean install of lite step and then just the one theme called Fetchi. But it wont gimme the satisfaction of staying still. 10 hrs later...I still wont give up.

Ok when I start the Fetchi theme then right click the desktop and go to lite step/module docs/ I see all but desktop2.dll version 1.4 popup2.dll version 1.16 systray2.dll version 1.90 Should they be in there I do see popup2-2.1.4

OK....check that every module loaded is the correct version as listed in my readme.txt file... I see the text file. But what exactly should be where? I want to double check it. The default lite step theme works.

Well I read the read me text for the Fetchi theme. Im guessing that the modules should be in the lite step folder. I didnt see rabidvwm.dll but Im not sure thats the problem. I have the 24.7 with the rc3 build now. I believe. Still having problems getting it to stay up.

Well I copied the files into my lite step directory and then re started Lite Step. Now Fetchi Bars on the right and left dissappear more than before.

I am in the explorer shell. I think I need to put these files somewhere in my already exsisting lite step directory. I think it is 3.0.2 But the wallpaper for the default theme says 24.7 so I will go jump off a cliff now.
