MGiff, i can't really say i noticed a clarity difference, but i noticed it's much zippier, even just over the last RC. i thought i was just giddy, but i'm almost positive it's faster. it's also nice to be able to read the text of a highlighted link. good job folks.

nice, but why does the text on tabs - in the display properties windows for instance - truncated with "..." when not selected, and the text on the selected tab display over the tabs borders? that's never a good look. just looks sloppy. but everything else is top-notch, honestly.

hm, i don't think i could afford to pay anyone by the hour. a flat fee of $50 for a good skin is certainly possible though. oh well, i was hoping it would sort of catch on as a good idea. i wasn't neccessarily thinking it had to be branded as star wars really (to be honest, i'm not a fan of text on skins at all), just sort of cloud city-art deco looking. that way, it could have broad appeal to it. maybe i really should give it a shot myself then.

i'd rather just let the idea germinate in an experienced skinners mind than to try and fool myself into thinking i have even the slightest clue or artistic talent to approach this on my own (or even with the communities guidance!). here's to holding my breath! *cheers!*

hi all, while i was installing windows a few years ago on an old computer, i was watching the empire strikes back. the falcon had just landed on the east platform of cloud city, so when the windows setup up asked me for a name for my computer, i thought, "hm, how about 'cloud-city?'". anyway, over the years as i've upgraded computers and OS's, i've sort of stuck with the cloud city theme when naming vaious objects on them. for example, my home LAN is called the Anoat System, my wireless n

ok, i paid for it, got a confirmation from BMT micro that credit card has been approved, etc. now what? some sort of activation key is needed to download the suite. where is it? it's not in the receipt from BMT micro. this is about as intuitive as....well, i can't think of anything, but it's not very intuitive, that's for sure!
