I'm sure these chaps would be happy to take on all the young boys you can supply. How about starting a fund to buy older game consoles off eBay and sprinkle them liberally around the West Bank? Or would the thought rich Jews were playing PS3's while they were stuck with PS1's or worse just get their suicidal blood boiling?

Thank God most terrorists are stupid. Take, for instance, "shoe bomber" Richard Reid , who in full view of flight attendants and fellow passengers attempted to light a fuse sticking out of his shoe. Stupid. There's nothing like a terrorist you can foil by turning on the "No Smoking" sign. Anyone wi
It's been a week since I brought Fuzzy home. So far, so good. He's been urinating on his own. Sometimes it's only a spot as small as a dime, but I'll take it. I never thought I would be so happy to see cat urine. Here's the before and after: <IMG SRC="http://pix8.net/pro/pic.
Funny, but there's nothing about "children" in your article, only someone who has to say "niger, niger, niger" to "get it out of (her) system." As an adult I can decipher the difference vs. <TABLE cell
What is so hard to understand that there's a difference between a member of a group using a term that refers to that group and someone not of that group using it, especially if the term is derogatory? It's a completely different context. I'm "Italian-American." A few years ago I joked with an Italian-American singer and an Italian-American preacher that the three of us should get together a tour. "We'll call it Dego '99!" I said. HaHaHa -- lau
Somebody's been reading my diary....
If pigs were flying overhead, I wouldn't be worried about rain.
With a birthday on the 23rd of the month (5 energy) you are inclined to work well with people and enjoy them. You are talented and versatile, very good at presenting ideas. You may have a tendency to get itchy feet at times and need change and travel. You tend to be very progressive, imaginativ
Keep your fingers crossed. They are sending Fuzzy home today. I'd hoped they would keep him longer, but I'm asking too much of them. He needs to stay unblocked till I can get this going. I don't really have much information right now. Things are going far too slowly for me. The surgeon's secretary said she'd have a full estimate quote for me by Thursday. The surgeon is based in Southern California, but travels. His</b
That is the surgery that my friend's cat had to have and now he is perfectly healthy. Thank you for that encouraging info, Shades. I was talking to a third-party vet for a second opinion. He said the operation is very successful and the only complications usually come from trying to get off ch
By the way, this is Fuzzy:
I haven't given up hope, yet. I found this interesting article on the surgery. It appears to be standard procedure in these cases -- two unplugs, then snip-snip. The article actually gave me hope that if I can get him the surgery he'll be okay. (I'm not usually on optimist, but I guess fox holes can do that to people. Take note, though, this is probably as hopeful as you'll ever catch me.)
My worst fear was that I'd bring Fuzzy home and have to take him right back again, like happened earlier in the week. The doctor called today to say come get him. She said he was totally clear. There were some things I'd have to do for him, but he'd be all right. I had
I said this on my original article, but it needs to be repeated here: When I wrote the original article I was feeling nearly as bad as I've ever felt in my life (which is saying something), but after the outpouring of good wishes and support I felt much better and much more hopeful. I appreciate the sentiments and help more than I could possibly express. I consider myself a pretty good writer, but when it comes to expressing the amoun

I appreciate the sentiments and help more than I could possibly express. I consider myself a pretty good writer, but when it comes to expressing the amount of gratitude I have right now, I'm as inadequate for the task as that infinite number
If it's not overly imposing to ask you all to pray for a cat, could you please pray for my cat? Fuzzy took a turn for the worse. I didn't even have him home 12 hours before the urinary blockage returned. When we walked back into the veterinary hospital today, they immediately grabbed him and rushed him into the back somewhere. I haven't seen him sinc
I wanted to thank everyone for the comments. I'd intended to respond more fully, but I'm in a bad place right now. I'll try later, but usually it takes me so long to get around to it (even if I always knew what I wanted to say) that it somehow doesn't seem right to respond to something so distant. Fuzzy took a turn for the worse. I didn't even have him home for 12 hours before it started up again. He's back in the hospital. There's been talk o
I'm not prepared to say this is the worst year of my life, but I've never before had a year when every single month had something majorly rotten happen in it. And it's accelerating! Let's see how many sorry things we can stuff into that pathetic sod's life this week ! The two worst this week are my computer burning out and my cat being h
But I'm just trying to fatten them up. Troll meat is so yummy.
so hunter s. thompson wasn't too far off when, after characterizing richard nixon as 'america's answer to mr. hyde', he proclaimed nixon 'speaks for the werewolf in us.' Obviously Mr. Thompson knew more than he was letting on. (He also k
Welcome back, Grandpa j4j! I wondered what you were up to (aside from leaving the occasional "SICK!", of course). (And, really, if your date won't swallow, why even go out? It's important to know these things up front.)
As I lay in bed, staring out the window at the full moon, I pondered what I could use to fight off werewolves. There's not much silver about the "silver"-ware. I doubt that any of what little jewelry I have is silver. In fact, I'm hard pressed to identify anything in the place that is certifiably silver. In the old days you could pelt the hairy beast
one can only hope susan and tim robbin choose not to breed. Um, guys? They have two sons, ages 16 and 13. But if it's any comfort, she's almost 60, so any further reproduction is unlikely.
You're reaching here. They obviously mean the TV series, which is still broadcast. I'm all for bashing MoveOn, but let's make it a legitimate gripe.
