I like it, but how does it represent the empire? I guess the real question is, what is it? On a completely unrelated note, I did a little analysis of your progress over the last couple of weeks. I calculated how many points behind Apolyton you were on 12/26, 12/31, and today. This may be a little too revolutionary, but has it ever been considered to make the medals, say, 25x25 instead of 20x2?. So much more detail would be possible without a lot of change in size. Just a thought.

Somewhere I remember reading that your scores reduce by 5% per month. There was a link to some program that Theoden wrote for calculating your Metaverse score. Don't remember where I saw it.

The trip to Mars would be about 18 months each way. It would be a long journey. That doesn't even include the time they spend on Mars. So you're talking funding a program that will last three years. Nastavnik, what would be so bad about Bill Gates not being able to come back?

Seeker Master, look at post #2. You have recruited me twice in this thread. Now to address that recruitment. I intend to remain independent. Maybe forever. Maybe only for a time. One thing is certain: I will be at least a Rear Admiral before I join an Empire. I have read your entire thread on the Empire of Light. I may join in on the discussion for now. We'll see where that leads.

I think that the only way man will ever get to Mars is if China sends a man to the Moon. They fully intend to do so. If they try, the U.S. will start up their manned rocket program again. After all, the USA is still paranoid about communism. They'll waste a lot of money sending another man to the moon (OK, or woman, in fact, most likely a woman for the PR of no one else has done it before). Sending men to the moon is what kept us from going to Mars a decade or two ago. So much glam
