I have been trying to find information about Kerry's policy on Space Exploration. The following article shed's a bit of light. After reading it, please tell me whether you think it means Kerry is pro-space or anti-space, or whether that is even a question that can be answered. Copied from http://www.spaceref.com/news/viewnews.html?id=965 <

But how do I actually implement it? I tried saving this file and then publishing it on my webserver, but it just shows up as XML code (as it does also when I click on the flashing RSS button). How do I make it show up as something actually readable? Sorry for being clueless and thanks for your help.

I'm implementing a few scripts that collect some information about the visitor, such as their language, their country, browser version, operating system, and a couple other things which I will add in the near future. http://22nd.org/detect/ I'd be delighted if you all could test it out to see

Nice little bit of history Robert. Missed the bit about the tournament being created to celebrate Argentina's First Centenary (100 years of independence) or did you just leave it out as irrelevant? All the best. Pach Left it out because I really wasn't writing an article about the history of the tournam

You should get your own blog! Not because I have any problem with you commenting here, but I want more people on JoeUser who are interested in the beautiful game. I think titles are of course the most important indicator of the quality of a team, but I DO think it is a bit more complicated than that. Do you really feel that Greece is the best team in Europe right now? They of course have every right to make that claim, but if you really think

You're right, it is very close between Argentina and Uruguay. It's mostly a judgement call on my part (because the quality of a team is somewhat more complicated than number of titles), but here is the data I have to work with: (Seperated roughly into "early era" and "modern era") Uruguay: Copa America Titles : 1950 or earlier: 8 After 1950: 6 World Cup Titl

Also, I must add that prior to 1993, on 1987, the tournament also had a final, in which Uruguay beat Chile 1-0. I think I included 1987 in my original count of "Cup style" tournaments. I'll recount though to be sure. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Body-

Having said this … the tournaments of 1975, 1979 and 1983 used the formatt of Libertadores or Sudamericana as in #2 Hence, these are 3 finals not included in your count of finals. As an extra description to these three finals … the number of points on both games decided the winner. If they tied in points, an extra game was forced

Technically, a “Cup Style” tournament …can have a couple different formatts, for example:1) The Champions League and the UEFA Cup where it is played as home and away and only the final is played in one game. or2) The Libertadores Cup and The Sudamericana Cup where all matches in the knock-put stages, including the final, are play

In order to help you with this … and add to your work … the four times you mention are what years? I understand these are tie-breakers, prior to 1975? I'm glad you had me look it up, because I MISSED ONE! There were five tie-breaker playoffs: 1919, 1922, 1937, 1949, 1953 I'll

i think its a preservation thing. it's real easy for a minority to "lose culture" if they completely immerse themselves in the dominant culture. that's kind of inevitable though, at least partial assimilation. they used to call it a melting pot, now they call it a "mixed salad".In the end, the brightest radish still ends up tasting like the dressing it sits in. by the way, have you seen the film "Bend It Like Beckham", or "Big Fat Greek Weddin

I previously stated that Brasil and Argentina are widely considered the two best teams in South America, but one should not forget about Uruguay. They are equal with Argentina in terms of championships, with two World Cups and 14 Copa America titles. Their last World Cup was in 1950 though, and most of their Copa America championships were in the early 1900's, when th

On Sunday Argentina will face Brasil in the final of the Copa America, the oldest international soccer tournament. Argentina and Brasil are widely thought to be the best two teams in South America, and two of the best in the world. Brasil has five World Cup Championships (the most of any co
