Yes I know they're out of date, I held off on downloading the one released last week. Until Impulse detects that I can only assume Impulse isn't ready for it yet. But atleast I have the right edition so when it is ready it'll go go go. My assumption is it will work similar to how you update your games and software, so it will notify you in the update tab.

I can't notice what is different yet, aside from the logo change. It isn't informing me of the new available driver. The old nvidia button from the community tab is there, but that just takes me to the standard nvidia driver page that is on the nvidia website, which sends me external to my web browser. I guess it isn't ready yet but nice to have the nvidia edition ready to go.

I hope to create a story game. Basically it will be more like a SRPG, since I plan to have the player faction city-less and behave more like a wandering mercenary army. So survival will be a challenge when troops can't be easily replaced! . So I think the main stuff I will be fiddling with is the event/story/quest stuff, to provide a cohesive adventure. Maybe something to do with diplomacy since the mercs have to live off other kingdoms, of course depends how it works out. &nb
This game will *fail* if it appeals to 13 year olds. Seriously...have you never played a Stardock game before? Or any other hardcore strategy game? What you are speaking of is *so* unimportant as far as this game's base goes.
I disagree. Success of most games is their wide appeal. I was drawn in to Civilization from the age of 5. I'm sure Elemental will have some good intro, but to be hon

I'm hoping quest/event creation is helped by with a tool. I'm thinking something in the lines of what civ2 event editor gave, but obviously more powerful. We can determine what triggers a text box, be it hitting a certain square, killing a certain unit, a certain turn number etc. Can provide text boxes with selectable responses. Be able to specificy outcomes of those responses, reactions will be finite. Such as something simp

A yes from me. I think it will get features in that usually, and sometimes confusingly, find themselves having to come later on in expansion packs. Was always befuddled how choosing event frequency wasn't in GC from the get go, for example. I think one of the big things that I'm hoping from an extended beta is some chance to work to also meeting or helping to achieve the needs of the modders, particularly in tools!

Hmm, will be interested in exactly how influence and zone of control expands and what it it does specifically. I hope it doesn't all get sourced from cities or that it can grow to ridiculous distances without forts or something. Of course, who knows what final version will be luck! Looks all very interesting, anyway.

I am not provided with the capability to pre-order. I'll have to wait for you to start charging during PAX. Plan to get my teeth sunk in. When is this strange PAX? Also, start doing more world wide expos! (By which I mean, expos not just in the USA, you're a world wide company, come to the ones in UK, Europe, etc!)

If borders overlap I'd like squares to be marked as "contested territory". Like in Star Trek Birth of the Federation. What this can allow is using contested territory as a bargaining chip in diplomatic missions. Also I hope political borders are not tied to "culture" ala Civ. Maybe physical forts/constructions that claim x squares around them.

Can there be cityless factions? Sort of like nomads/barbarian/hordes that encourage a more SRPG style of gameplay? Can we disable magic/essence? How big are the 64-bit maps? Can you show one off in a video/screenshot? How much support will you give in providing tools to help in some of the rather rudimentary and basic levels of modding? For example, in Civ4, even adding/changing Civs requ

How much support will you give in providing tools to help in some of the rather rudimentary and basic levels of modding? For example, in Civ4, even adding/changing Civs required going into text editors and a lot of cross checking of files to make sure it would work. Will Elemental help make it as easy as possible?

If you've got the highest grade in mathematics, you'd know you need to actually provide your lines of reasoning to support your statement. I do not see any 'math'. [e digicons]:S[/e] It isn't a win chance, the stats clearly state win percentage. As in, the percentage of games the Demigod has won.
