Any ideas?[/quote] Stop checking everything and trying it on ultra? :P Load times are longer than normal for TW, but they weren't exactly super fast as standard anyway. At most I've up to a minute on waiting. Love the land battles. Constant
Ok, the quoting doesn't work. Keeps quoting the first comment. @sqwalnoc - Probably a handful of turns each peg, with a sitrep every few days. I don't envision this to be as well organised or structured as those on CivFanatics, possibly just settling on a player following majority decisions on questions put to the community. And possibily a rotation period of player, as well.
Galactic terrain! ( I hope) Look forward to it whatever it is.
Ok! One on board!
Is there(Has there been) any interest in having a collaborative Demo-game of GalCiv2? Guiding our custom empire to a place in galactic history! Some Civ players may already be familiar with how a democracy game works. I was thinking it may be fun to try it for GC2. Is anyone interested?
I think lightning, storms and colliding weather systems.
That is the crunch right there. Dawn of War barely uses the Steam overlay. If I want to play with friends I have to get them all on my GFWL overlay now. I bought Empire: Total War retail. The game won't run unless I have Steam and validated it online.
All I ever seek in my choices is pricing. Frankly, I'm not too fond of either atm because it seems with the way pricings are going, it is back to good, cheap retail for the near future. I guess I will air the little whine on Elemental's digital and boxed pricing. Both being the same. I've just grown to expect the digital versions to be cheaper and yet the digital offering shows me no advantage. All talk on competition is fine but then I see all this about not wanting to co
I hope at phase 3 the "Games" button in the Community tab will be working. At the moment it just gives the message that I can't connect to the Reactor servers.
Thanks for the whole explanation on the peer-to-peer some more. Although I still struggle to think that client/server was going to be that traumatic for the game. Connectivity is getting better, now to deal with those darn desynchs!
Minion hp should be on the UI. Their selection buttons should also return.
Games are meant to be short. Players shouldn't have to be frantic micro managing in what is being dubbed as the "Counter-strike of RTS". The idols after Level 1 are essentially not worth buying. Just leave it as a single idol and keep their progression in General skills.
Gratz. Are NPD reports NA only? Worldwide? Three countries?
Does this also include feedback for the singleplayer portion? Or just mp balance focus?
I think Sins is a great RTS. I just got eyebrow raised at the whole idea it was somehow trying to spin a new genre: 4XRTS - which I actually consider a game like Europa Universalis to be a better contender for that. Although I guess it was a tool to peak curiosity since that was exactly what got me runnin'. As for this Demigod beta. Totally dudes! How can we even consider the fun side when the focus of feedback should be on network issues, minion des
Just give us a bog standard NAT whatever.
"How many times have you bought a game and couldn't get it to work online" Honestly, not that much. I'll be waiting of course for the final version of Reactor to see if it was really worth all the extra bother.
How generic and dull. She is still, for me, the least interesting character in Demigod.
Bloody hell. How many times will you repeat this?
Good idea on minions able to capture flags. Also, provide general with exp even if he is not in range. I'm not so keen on having to summon minions twice to reach the full 4. Just let us need to do it once. My view on controlling minions is similar to controlling squads in Company of Heroes or Dawn of War. I also think it would be very spiffy if we can have our General join with one minion squad to strengthen himself and them.
It is unfair for Generals to have to pay gold to get their minions. The big income moments are killing Demigods, which isn't and shouldn't be on a General's agenda. Make minions available from the beginning. Their strength should be dependant on the General. Perhaps a certain %. So as the General is improved upon, so are the minions that serve under him/her. I also think Generals need more that offer buffs and significant boosts to the creeps.
A strategy game with no PBEM is criminal!
I think in this 64-bit world, the AI is gonna be pretty state of the art.
It wasn't mandatory in SMAC. It had both options wanted here and worked brilliantely.
