Ugh, at least she's okay but stitches and ER visits are no fun. You were lucky to get seen so quickly. So are you going back? Which SeaWorld do you go to? I haven't been forever. When I was a kid I went to the one in Ohio but I believe they closed that one down. I went to the one in Orlando many moons ago. I might attempt a trip to San Antonio this summer. I think it's fine to have sporting events on memorial day. It's not supposed to be a day or mourning but a day of remembrance. Part of Christmas and Thanksgiving is watching football, why not watch baseball on Memorial Day? I think it's great to incorporate something to commemorate the "real" meaning into your celebration of the holiday.

It is shameful but not surprising. I don't think this addresses my issue at all. The condescending attitude of "you're stupid if you don't vote for Obama" doesn't change with the demographic of the voters. The attitude is the same.
