Here's the thing uglyspirit. Deskscapes or Service pack? Your choice is not to install SP3 only to have your OS's security system annoy you for updates. When you think about it, as long as your system is connected to the internet, there is no choice with service packs. Not only do they keep your system security current, its also a way to ensure the authenticity of your OS for continued support. Without it, you're eventually dea

Desktop X 101 - Sounds like several dis-associations with the theme's built-in links. It's nice when you can chat with the theme's creator that'll assist you with a problem. Sorry you're having a tough time with this Tom. Sounds like a pain in the patootie! Unfortunately, IE8 being in test phase (beta) has nothing to do with how your WindowBlinds is acting. If WindowBlinds was working correctly with IE7, then it's a beta issue with your new browser. And Microsoft doesn't support beta products. Again it's unfortunate, but these are the risks of being a beta tester. And you're laying your system down on the line in the name
How about something like a "Salute" to U.S. Services Dream to include all i.e. USAF,NAVY,MARINES,ARMY
Az, the OP hetch, is the one specifically asking for a Marine Corps style dream for his personal use. It would be more of a favor rather than a submission. This will also keep any issues with permissions and copyrights to none. If you try to post it, then it has to be according to the rules. And I think this is where this conversation gets co
My take would be that official seals for the armed forces would be proprietary and copyrighted. You would probably need to gain permission just like Stardock has to do for their sports team My Colors themes
Hey Ed! My thinking is, if it's for personal use, then it should be ok. It's when you publish and submit for downloading is when permissions are needed! I think. I'm former USAF, but rather forget about being stationed at SAC Minot AFB North
My A, N, and Shift keys are almost completely worn off, and it doesn't bother me at all (especially on a $14 keyboard). At least I know where the keys are
I understand BB, thing is none of the boards these folks are describing to you are cheap. The least expensive board so far is vStyler's at $60. All I'm saying is, at these prices they've become small investments worth protecting. [e digicons][/e]

Good answer blueray and vStyler! Logitech is the way to go BB. I've been using Logitech's now obsolete Cordless MX Duo since 2003 and it's still functioning like the day I bought it. The one consideration most people don't care about when buying a keyboard is a measurement called key stroke life (KSL). You can purchase a wireless keyboard for a buck or two at the 99 cent store and it could measure 15,000 KSL, meaning you'd have to
