Is Icon Packager still being developed? One of my favorites. I have fond memories of chasing down scripting errors to make my objects function correctly in DX. Late nights on chat. Good times. The falling snowflake object? Excellent. Use it every Winter. Oh well. It was awesome while it lasted.

sometimes there is a transparent part of an OD image. When the cursor is over that transparent part, OD thinks you have removed your cursor and it tries to hide itself, but as it recedes, your cursor then is over a solid area and OD registers that as a mouse hover and opens and the whole cycle starts again, if you leave your cursor in the same place. I once created an OD background specifically so it would look cool while bouncing :-)

*if* all those files are stored in the same folder on your hard drive, make it a portal as shown in the video above. That way, you can double click inside the fence and it will open explorer.... which can be maximized.

Portals are just 'windows' into a folder on your hard drive. If a portal is empty, then that folder on your hard drive is empty. I believe that's how it works. That's how it's set up on my machine anyway.

Could be wrong, but I think the only way you're going to be able to do that is by making 'portals.' Then you can point MS temp file storage to that folder. Plus, if you copy a file in that folder, the copy would be placed there also. The portals look the same as fenced areas, so you would have 'visual cohesion' lol
Ok, figgered it out. But now when I middle click to open the menu, it also shows my fences which should remain hidden. I see no right click choice in setup. I have fences set to quick hide/show on double click, not middle click.
In the preferences>hotspots section, you can set pretty much any trigger you wish. It's an awesome program.

What conditions have to be met in order for the "Work" live folder to be used? I have folders which only have documents using "Work" I have folders which have sub-folders using "Work" But I also have both of the above situations where the normal live folder icon is being used. Win 8 64 bit Latest IP version Thanks, David

agreed. Icon Packager is a must have on my machine. Just tried to install the Plump IP set. Right off the bat, the 'large icon' size in explorer, when the folder is NOT empty, is showing from the previous icon set. The empty folders are correct. sigh. What VERY odd is that the icons show correctly for less than a second before they are corrupted. Going to apply my fix and see what happens. After my fix, had to do the "rebuild icon cache" thing.&

LOL wish I had found this thread earlier. I am having the exact same issues with current IP version and 64 bit Win8. ( https://forums.wincustomize.com/445887/page/1/#3373704 ) From the thread, I found a way to at least get the live folders showing correctly, but it's not an easy process. Then, at some point, an extra image of the front cover started showing up. I do have a current support case open

:-) Well it was a mixed success. All the icons are showing from the correct set, however there is always an extra front folder cover image whenever the folder contains data. There is nothing I can find which fixes this problem. The extra image problem has not reared it's ugly head lately. I don't believe I did anything to fix it, so no clue why.

success!! I did a search for iconcache* on the C;\ drive. Found about 6 of them. Went to that directory in a DOS box and renamed them all to iconcache*.bak. Rebooted. All those files were re-created. I deleted all the *.bak files, and voila! Perfect. Even applied a few icon sets with no problems. What a freaking PITA!!! [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e]

sigh... I guess so. I've tried deleting the iconcache.db, I've deleted the Flash Live icon set (so where is it getting the image from??) , "Repair Shell Icons" doesn't seem to do anything at all, neither does "Repair Icon Images." Rebooted galore... Nada.

please? I can't get this problem to go away. Even trying to get the default icons back results in a Frankenstein set. The Flash Live seems to have taken over and won't let go. Thanks, David
